My wife and I traveled from Nashua New Hampshire to Boston to see Nate Bargatze at the Garden. We went to Benevento afterwards for dinner. We really enjoyed our food but my wife discovered she had left one of her very nice leather gloves behind. The next day, I called the restaurant and they had it. They were kind enough to mail it to me. Excellent food and terrific customer service. Thank you.

Food (gnocchi) & drink (Aperol Spritz) were both great - loved being right in the heart of the North End, and our group of 4 was very happy with the quality of everything we ordered. Would recommend to others - remember to make a reservation, as the restaurant gets busy!

Decent food, but nothing compared to restaurants in the area. Good Caesar dressing but the leaves of salad were a little wilted. The fusilli we got was a little over cooked. Alfredo was a good consistency, but bland. Definitely could've used more cheese Vs heavy cream.

Went here over the weekend with friends. Wish I'd remembered it was St. Patrick's day (and how popular this area is for that holiday)... The restaurant is fairly narrow. We had a party of about a dozen, and things were a little cozy/snug. Our waitress and the entire staff was fabulous. Every dish was fresh and great portion sizes (several of us took left-overs home). Prices were a bit expensive, but very reasonable for the size. They did a great job topping off beverages and complimentary bread. With many Italian restaurants in the north end to choose from, I would definitely recommend this one.

The food was super good. I ordered the linguine with vodka sauce and it was amazing, so creamy, so tomato-y, overall so delicious. We also got prosciutto as an appetizer and it was so crispy and garlicky and the tomatoes were so good and fresh. Overall this was a 5 star meal and I loved it.

Got the chicken Marsala, did have chunks of cold cut lunch meats in it, but I promptly devoured. Was a busy night considering college kids were out bar hopping for saint patty's weekend, not sure why they're celebrating in little Italy though. Nonetheless, we made a reservation and food was delivered timely. I recommend making reservation. Very nice and cozy restaurant, come with hungry belly.

The food was good. The beers were good but the service was awful. The hostess was annoyed by everyone who walked in. All other servers were busy on their phones. Maybe you get hired here based on your lack of hospitality?? I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Owner was outside on the sidewalk and saw our Rapidfire Volleyball team needing some place to eat and said “I can seat all of you”. Well, he did, all 29 of us! The food was amazing and the service was impressive. This is how you treat your customers from out of town!!!!

This was by far the worst pizza and meatballs I've ever had. The garlic bread was rock hard and overcooked. Do not order from

Originally I wanted to go to Al Dente, but the wait was a hour and a half and the host mentioned that next-door they had the same exact menu. So I decided to try Benevento's. I ended up getting the same exact thing that I got from Al Dente a year ago which was the handmade Fussili Carbonara, but this time I didn't add sausage and I got a meatball on the side. The pasta was amazing! Loved the soft texture of the fussili. The carbonara sauce was really good as well - nice and creamy. The pancetta was somewhat chewy, but overall I really enjoyed the dish! The meatball dish was also amazing! The meatball itself wasn't overly seasoned but the sauce and the cheese really complemented the meatball well. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this tasted - it was a very simple dish that had amazing flavor! Washed it down with the Chianti and that made my night! So if you can't make it into Al Dente, go next-door to Benevento's!
