Bistro du Midi offers an inspiring menu with many options for both lunch and dinner. Lunch selections range from first courses like Tuna tartare to entrees of mussels with frites, to simple burgers and even a croque monsieur. French with American accents. Pricey but fair value given the setting, service and ample servings.
We visited this beautiful restaurant on our wedding anniversary, and the experience was truly lovely. While there were limited vegetarian options, everything we tried was excellent.
We started with the soup as an appetizer, which was delicious, and ordered the beet gnocchi as well. I personally loved the beet gnocchi — creamy, well-balanced, and perfectly done.

Wow. Sunday 6p 1/18/2026 dinner. I studied the wine list (thank you Claude.ai) and ordered a lovely Spanish red. Salad and beef tartare was plenty, and then two souffles and two dessert wines. Lovely service, quiet setting (jazz), awesome food and wine.
