I was in the area for several days for a work event and I have to say, we kept coming back each morning to try something new because it was just so fantastic. I will mention that it was quite cold outside at the time and there was no seating available, but we were picking it up and taking it with us so it was not personally a thing that we were looking for.Over several days I tried their:Maple Braids - 5/5 right mixture of soft and chewy. Great texture great flavor.Boston Creme - 4/5 Good balance of sweet and tart, also fantastic texture.Old Fashioned Chocolate - 5/5 again all around good texture and flavor. It's a good choice if you want something more simple but still some morning chocolate.Everything Bagel 4/5 - was a bit messy as the everything topping easily fell off, but was very good. Cream Cheese is already added for you, and is the right amount to keep it flavorful and chewy without making it too soft.Breakfast Burrito 4/5 - was much larger than I originally thought it was going to be (which is not a problem at all) good choice of ingredients that gives it a great texture without being too much to clash.And my #1 choice being above and beyond one of the best jam/jelly filled donuts I've had is the Raspberry Bismark 10/5 fantastic in every way.When I'm in the area again I will definitely try to come back and try some more options.

We got an assortment of delicious donuts and even a jalapeño roll!!! Everything was so yummy and fresh!! The girls at the counter greeted us like friends and the shop though very dark and bar vibe was cute! Make sure to go!!!

I was excited when I learned that the Everything Bagel was the doughnut of the week because I had been wanting to try Blackbird Doughnuts and heard that this was one of its signature doughnuts. With the promotion, the doughnut was $1.93 pre-tax. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The biggest issue was that it was too oily, dry, and tasted like it was fried in old oil, which you can tell from the dark color of the doughnut. The cream cheese and everything seasoning for sure made it taste like a bagel, but I would have rather eaten a regular bagel than a bad doughnut. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if the doughnuts are usually like this, but I'm not sure I'll come back anytime soon.

Ok. Let’s be honest. Most donut spots don’t have good coffee, or good food. Not the case at this beautiful little shop. And they open before I have to be at work so I can swing by for a coffee in the morning. Delicious!!

We went here before heading back to nyc while waiting for our train arriving in 2hrs so we walked all the way here from backbay station which is 13mins walk at it was raining pretty hard.When we arrived here,the place was quite and 2 person behind my partner who was buying the donut boston cream for aSouvenir back in nyc. It was raining pretty hard and the guy in the counter who took the order has no initiative to out the donuts on a box. We ordered 3pcs of donuts and he just put in a paper bag. Take note it was raining pretty hard,they have a lot of boxes and yet the donut was being placed in a paper bag.Anyhow the donut is good btw.

I want to give the BIGGEST shoutout to Paige who is an AMAZING manager at Blackbird donuts. I wanted to buy donuts for my girlfriend after work so I called to order. I realized by the time I would get to the donut shop the donuts my girlfriend wants would most likely be gone. Paige was very kind, patient and offered different options for me to get these donuts for my girlfriend. She allowed me to order the donuts over the phone and have them reserved for me so when I get to the shop they would be packaged in a container waiting for me. My girlfriend was so excited to get these donuts and she wholeheartedly enjoyed them. Paige has honestly given me one of the best customer service experience ever. Thank you again to Paige and to Blackbird donuts for having awesome donuts and even better customer service. I'm going back!

It's been awhile since I've been here. I got the coffee Oreo doughnut and the breakfast sandwich this morning. The breakfast sandwich was delicious with the soft eggs and melted cheese. The coffee glaze and Oreo crumbs were good but the doughnut texture was not how I remembered it. This time was more dense and not as airy. The cashier was fast and I got my food in less than 10 mins. The store is always clean and utensils were stocked neatly. I love the pumpkin spice foam with the cold brew.
