As a Buffalo Bills fan living in New England, I wish I could give this bar 10 stars ⭐️

I just returned from a meal at the Bleacher Bar. I almost never post negative reviews, but our experience here was awful. The service in particular was nonexistent. We waited over 20 minutes to order. Then our waitress disappeared. Never came back for drink refills and waited for the check for over 35 minutes. It was not busy at the time, there were maximum 25 patrons at the time. In addition, the clam chowder was awful. It had waaayy too much salt. I think the pretzels we ordered had less salt and they were the same pretzels I could buy at a Costco, but was charged $10. Finally when a waitress came to cleanup our table, we were never asked about our meal or if we needed anything else. Additionally, for as bad as the meal was, it was all overpriced. So disappointed with the entire experience. I would NEVER recommend this place other than the fact it has a great view of Fenway Park.

Worst pint if Guinness I've ever had. Great location though with a view overlooking the field

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this experience was so bizarre it’s hard not to.

We were a group of seven and were seated right away, but the table was extremely dirty—there were visible ketchup smudges all over it, as if it hadn’t been wiped down after the previous guests.

Our waitress brought waters and then took our order without writing anything down. She repeated it back incorrectly, so we went around the table and repeated our orders again. She still didn’t write anything down. A few minutes later, she came back saying she forgot and asked us to repeat the order again—this time supposedly writing it down. Then she returned yet again to “make sure she got it right,” but once again repeated the entire order incorrectly.

This cycle went on for about 30 minutes, with her repeatedly coming back to ask for our order and getting it wrong every single time. At one point, we genuinely wondered if we were being pranked. When she said she was writing it down, we glanced at her notepad and it was just scribbles—no actual words.

Eventually, food arrived: one burger for a table of seven and two orders of fries that we never ordered. At that point, we asked to just pay for the single burger and the two beers we had received and leave. She offered to comp the entire meal if we repeated our order one more time, but we declined and left.

The concept and location are cool, but the service was completely chaotic and honestly uncomfortable. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a restaurant before.

We walked in on a non-game Sunday afternoon for the Sox. Food was classic simple bar food (fried and salty to absorb the alcohol and keep you drinking!) and there were plenty of options on tap for our whole group.

The host was charismatic and led us to one of the prime tables (must order food to sit there) where we soaked in the unusual October sunlight and the spectacular view of the field and park.

Absolutely a must do for all 21+ who visit Boston

Wonderful place whether it’s a game day or not. Great view from the outfield as well as the men’s room. Never had food here but the drinks are fairly priced and no matter how busy it is the service is quick. You definitely have to check this bar out when in Boston.

I would have loved to watch the Bills game here while on vacation with my family but we showed up about 20 mins late to our reservation (really bad weather and didn’t budget enough time to get there) and learned that this is a ***21+ bar*** which was a surprise since we were traveling with our 6-yo son and it said on non-home game (Red Sox) evenings it was all ages. The manager and bouncer were extremely kind but unfortunately this was just a huge disappointment of an experience. I am rating this 3 stars bc I don’t want this to reflect poorly on the manager but I do want others to know to call ahead to verify whether they are allowing families/kids in.

If you can get inside and find a table, you will have a great time. Food is good too.

Really really cool bar. Venue is superbly situated with a view onto Fenway park. Food we had was excellent and very tasty. I do like my beers and the pumpkin ale was possibly one of my top 5 ales.
However thats the good points now the bad. At the end of the evening I was presented with an $80 bill good value for food and 5 beers between me and my wife. I added a $20 tip as our waitress (who shall remain nameless) had been nice and accommodating. I handed over my credit card for her to swipe. Chase sent me a notification during the night that my card had been charged not the expected $100 but $163. I have now raised a dispute with the bar as I have a receipt in my possession that clearly shows the total.
Such a shame a really good night had been spoilt in this way.
Lesson for me never hand over your card.
Lesson for everyone else, don't hand over your card a check then double check your statements.

Ordered the Rueben. Was very good. The server was very attentive and nice. You get a view of the outfield and first baseline while sitting at the end of the bar. This was a very creative spot to put a bar.
