Great for pre-ballet at the Opera House! Our server was Val and he was terrific. We had no trouble with a 6:00 PM table, getting to the ballet on time by 7:20 PM for a 7:30 PM curtain time. Menu was just right. Thank you!
We were seated right away, even before our reservation time. They knew we had theatre tickets so they paced our meal perfectly. We started with the Tuna Tartare which was probably the best we have had in a long time, then we shared the beet salad which they split in the kitchen for us. Also delicious. My daughter had the duck and I had the Cod both were flavored perfectly. We will absolutely go back as well as refer our friends.
A great place for a before or after theater or movie meal. Great views! Validated parking is a plus!
The only thing this place has going for it is its location. It's one of the few dining options in the theater district. The food is really uninspiring. The salad green were wilted and the dressing had no flavor. It was a poor experience all around.

Lovely view of the city from our table. We both ordered the duck. The food was fresh but there was no flavor to anything except for the cherry sauce on the side. When we go out for dinner and pay high prices we expect a delicious meal. This was a disappointment.

The ambience was lovely as were all the employees at this establishment. Unfortunately, all the food was very disappointing.
One of our favorite date night spots! Great views, excellent drinks & food, elegant atmosphere & usually fairly quiet.
We had a great pre-show dinner. The food was excellent. Loved the cocktails! Super nice service.
I was looking forward to dinner at Blu, having checked out the menu online. My friend and I split two entrees, the Veggie Feast and the rack of lamb. Online, the menu showed that the vegetable dish would include butternut squash, red peppers, zucchini, and kale over quinoa, with black beans and avocado. It was also priced at $21. However, in the restaurant, it was $33. More disappointing, the dish was essentially quinoa with a few beans, and a piece of each vegetable. While tasty, it was not the bountiful feast the name of the dish implied. The rack of lamb was beautifully prepared, but they were served like a hunk of meat, instead of ready to be separated for easy eating. The waiter, while sympathetic, was essentially useless and neither called over a manager nor had the chef come out to address our frustration.
Average experience from beginning to the end. Limited cocktail/wine list. 2 of 3 in my group are gluten free- the waiter had difficulty guiding us to GF options on the menu. The served food had croutons/crostini even on our dishes, and the food quality was just mediocre. The upsides were: a nice view, and attention to our need to leave in time for a show. Meh.

Nice spot for a pre theatre dinner with nice views. Food was great, had the cod and pork chop. The bolognese was also tasty. Definitely recommend. Plus the drinks were delicious. Nice, knowledgeable staff. Would return!

The dining experience was very rushed. While we understand turnover for those going to the theater, we had to repeatedly ask for more time between courses to avoid food all coming out at the same time. I had the cod which was dry and overcooked but overall not a cohesive, enjoyable dish. My husband had the statler chicken which was also overcooked and came out quickly, despite being told it would take a least 20 minutes. Flavor was better than the cod, but not worth the price. We would not dine here again.
We are newcomers and were in awe of the view. Our servers were top noth and the bartender was creative. Staff made our anniversary special. I would recommend air purifiers/fresheners for main lobby between Equinox gym and your resturant. It smells like a gyn when you get off the elevator. We will be back and have recommended to friends.
Good food. Great view and really accommodating for dietary restrictions

Review should be much higher because this place has potential. Much lower due to management and service. Dinners arrived 30 minutes after ordering. Appetizer 10 minutes after dinner. Food was lukewarm, demi-glace cold. What was served had excellent flavor. We had tickets to show so no time to have anything fixed and they did take the appetizer off the bill. I do believe there is a language issue with several of their servers. They were polite and responsive but did not speak english very good which easily could have contributed to some of the service issues. So, I do not believe this was a case of lack of attention, deliberate or callous performance. Simply poor management. It is also loud but that appears to be very common these days. People don't talk anymore. The noise could easily have affected the server's ability to hear and understand what was said to be fair to them.
