I have never left a 1 star review- the coffee was that bad. I ordered an Americano and it had almost zero espresso flavor, was one of the worst coffees I’ve had in a while. I assume the lack of taste was due to an inexperienced barista, rather than the coffee beans themselves. Given the price ($5.60), I am really disappointed.
As others have noted here this location is the worse blue bottle you will ever visit. Wish it wasn’t the case but it is. Try Blank Street a block away

There was a very long queue, and no enough seating. Other than, the coffee is great.

This barista at the register VIV was so sweet and helpful and patient and smiled at me and I thought maybe we had something special but she was smiling at everyone :(

Cafe is disorganized, they didn’t know which drink was mine + they only poured my friend’s drink half way, even though it was an Americano. When we asked them if they could fill it a little bit more, they simply watered down the drink.

You really need to try their breakfast sandwich! Just make sure to ask for the bread to be toasted well, it turns out perfect that way. I also recommend the oat almond chocolate nuts, it’s so good!

No updated hours so came all the way here and it was closed — had to go to blank street around the corner which was disappointing
Blue Bottle Coffee truly gets coffee. Their brews have those rich, nutty flavors that hit perfectly without ever tasting bitter. Every cup is smooth, balanced, and clearly crafted by people who know exactly what they’re doing. If you love coffee with depth and character, this place is a must.

I fundamentally disagree with a cortado being 6 dollars but ok slay

Cold staff who refused to serve me and humiliated me in front of other customers for no reason. I am deeply outraged.

They refused to serve a drink in a mug because they are closing in 43 minutes?

Latte was good. I wouldn’t make a special trip to this location.

I’m a huge fan of Blue Bottle Coffee and I visit all the locations I can when traveling. This one was one of my least favorites. The staff was ok, nothing special there. The tables were dirty and needed to be wiped down. The counters weren’t clean and I saw coffee grounds spilling out on the counters. I ordered a matcha latte and it was served iced in a paper cup, not your typical clear plastic cold beverage cup. The location is really fun and the cafe is beautiful with all the wood, but not quite up to par compared to other locations.
