This place was really good. Lots of good, high quality options. However, it is a little bit pricey.

This place is great as long as you aren’t a minority. From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were greeted with a stifling attitude, the workers in the kitchen/behind the bar were fine, but the waitresses were very obvious in their judgement and disdain for us. To them it seemed serving us was the worst punishment of their lives. They were very suspicious and weren’t slick with the way they seated us farthest from the exit when there were many seats empty near the door. Until we paid our bill we were watched very intently, and treated rudely when we wanted to take our order. Food was bomb though.

As someone who lives nearby and passes by often, me and my girlfriend laugh at the seriously unfitting music that comes playing out the speakers from outside the establishment.
Moving on, the one time we did eat here we did have a truly terrible experience. We ordered a chefs choice platter of sushi and were served a very mediocre selection that I could’ve bought from a nearby grocery. We asked for a medium rare on our steak and received an overcooked beef fillet. Our server disgruntledly provided a replacement that was closer, but when the bill arrived, tried to charge twice for the original and replacement. He was not pleased when I pointed it out on the bill.
Nevertheless, it is safe to say I will never go back there again. I recommend the McDonald’s next door instead to anyone hungry, as they are more likely to get a better deal for their money.

Wonderful food and very good service for dinner. Wonderful experience. So good, that we stopped in after the baseball game Saturday for a nightcap and appetizer. AJ, who is the manger deserves high praise. We’ll definitely return.
We recently dined at Blue Ribbon Sushi in Boston, and it honestly felt like we were transported back to Japan. We started with the crispy spicy rice and the bluefin tuna tartare, both of which were perfectly balanced and packed with flavor. The sushi pieces, especially the toro and hamachi, were outstanding. The fish was so fresh and carefully selected, with rich flavors that never felt heavy or overwhelming. The broiled yellowtail collar was another highlight, tender and full of depth. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the mochi and the green tea crème brûlée; both were light yet indulgent, making for the perfect ending to the meal.
The ambiance was cozy and upscale, the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy every bite. Flynn, our server, was exceptional, attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food. His recommendations were spot on, making the evening even more memorable. From the chilled sake to the smooth Japanese whiskey, every drink was top shelf and beautifully paired with the food. It’s rare to find a place that captures the feeling of dining in Japan, but Blue Ribbon Sushi managed to do precisely that. We left so happy to have found this gem right here in Boston.

Great customer service from our server, Flynn, who was super welcoming and gave great recommendations since it was my first time going there with my mother. The food was incredible and left us extremely content! Loved the ambiance and would come back again!

One of my favorite sushi places. I recommend most of the dishes here, as I've never failed in getting a delicious sashimi or sushi from this place. They also carry good selection of sake so I recommend that as well.

We enjoyed the cauliflower tempura, salmon belly sashimi, two different rolls and the filet mignon. Prices are on the high side but the food was absolutely delicious. It was my birthday and they brought me a free dessert on the house. Great service….very fast too. We had to slow them down a bit!

Wonderful restaurant, amazing food, lovely service.
Unfortunately our visit was marred by the loud aggressive music. Couldn't talk, couldn't hear, not relaxing.

Probably the best sushi I've ever eaten in my life. The king salmon sushi/sashimi was my favorite. The wagyu gyoza is also a must have. The place is very authentic, with a traditional Japanese vibe. I loved the small jar with shoyou. The only down side is that buying individual sushi pieces is very pricey. I don't like “chef selection dishes” because I am very selective about my fish in sushi, so I needed to build my own “sushi combo” and boy, they were good, but too expensive! I recommend the Sakura drink if you favor sweeter drinks.
GREAT place to wind down after a heavy day, or to grab great sushi for a quick lunch. Their sushi was extremely high quality and super tasty! They have a good proportion of protein to rice and the breadth of their selection is excellent. The lychee martini is now my favorite martini! They have a good selection of bourbon, gin, whiskey, tequila and rum as well. The waitstaff is attentive and very well versed in their menu. The ambiance is also top notch! Prices seemed very fair and inline with other places in the area. All in all i ate here 4 times in 2 days =).
