This high-end sushi restaurant offers exceptionally fresh fish and top-notch service. Our party of six opted for the family-style dining experience, and we were all delighted by the incredible dishes served. Each dish was truly amazing, showcasing the chef's skill and the quality of the ingredients.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with outstanding sushi.

Overall good experience 4/5.1. Quality is good, but pieces sometimes cut unevenly.2. Lighting is a bit too dark and uneven depending on table.3. The reason why I deducted a star - Online menu is lower priced than actual menu, so spent significantly more than anticipated. For example the platter is $240 online but $280 in-person.

I heard good things about the restaurant and decided to have my birthday dinner yesterday there and it was beyond my expectations. The A5 Wagyu literally melts in your mouth and the wagyu gyozas were the best gyozas I ever had. The sushi was extremely good and you can tell that its as fresh as it can possibly be. Drinks were also really good, which I didn’t expect in a sushi place. Dessert was super good, we had different mochis and this kind of creme brule with matcha that was delicious. There are plenty different seating options to fit the dinner style you may want to have (sushi bar, table, booth and even a space for larger parties). The service was extremely kind and helpful. For transport you can just get the green line if you want to go by public transport and it’s by the entrance of the Kenmore station so really convenient if you are planning on having a few drinks, overall 10/10 restaurant.

We love BlueRibbon! We frequent two of the NYC locations often so were excited to see they are in Boston. The space is awesome; quiet, spacious and dim lit. Sushi came out fast (almost too fast, we did not even have drinks yet). We felt a tad bit rushed but nothing that ruined the experience. The food is always the highest quality you cannot go wrong with BlueRibbon if you are looking for the best sushi.

Unbelievable service! Everyone was extremely attentive, making sure that we always had everything we needed. Our waters were never empty and the moment plates were empty, they were cleaned off the space. The sushi was delicious. For appetizers, the crispy rice and the fried chicken wings were incredible. Couldn't emphasis more how much I would recommend this restaurant!

Best sushi spot in Boston hands down! Our server was very knowledgeable about the best things on the menu (mentioned he was a regular before working there) and helped us curate a really delicious meal. Went for a birthday dinner but will definitely go back for casual or a special occasion.

There's a unique atmosphere with good food and an interesting interior at Blue Ribbon Sushi. While a bit pricey and limited in seating, the quality of the sushi is excellent. The tempura was perfectly fried, sauces were well-balanced, and all the sushi and sashimi were expertly prepared and presented. Great for seafood lovers with the wallet to support their more expensive appetites.Full Review:Stepping into Blue Ribbon Sushi in Boston at night, you're immediately struck by the dim lighting and the unique interior design, which sets a cozy and intimate atmosphere. While the restaurant is not large and seating can be a bit limited, it adds to the overall charm and exclusivity of the place. The menu at Blue Ribbon Sushi is focused on high-quality seafood, particularly sushi and sashimi. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food more than justifies it. The tempura, for example, was perfectly battered and fried to a crispy perfection, without being greasy. The sauces accompanying the dishes were flavorful and complemented the seafood without overpowering it.The sushi and sashimi selection was impressive, with each piece expertly cut and beautifully presented. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and it's clear that the chefs at Blue Ribbon Sushi take great care in sourcing and preparing their seafood. While dining at Blue Ribbon Sushi may not be an everyday indulgence for most due to the prices, it is certainly worth it for a special occasion or a treat. If you're a seafood lover looking for top-notch sushi in Boston and don't mind splurging a bit, Blue Ribbon Sushi is a fantastic choice.

Blue Ribbon Sushi has had a lot of hype since it opened. Naturally, it was on my bucket list, yet something always came up. But after so long, I finally got a chance to try it. And I was really impressed with the food, decor, and service. The Crispy Rice is delicious, and I love sushi places that serve you on a board. Great attention to detail. I did go during lunch, which is slower, so that gave me more personal time. Only thing is that I would knock it for is that this place is super expensive. Their sushi deluxe is almost $50, twice the price of most regular spots (they give you a credit for the roll you get with the pieces). Even the crispy rice is almost $30 for an app. But it is in a great location, and the space is beautiful—I feel it's worth it every once in awhile to splurge or for a date. I hear dinner is always busy. Also, super clean bathrooms. So I'll be back. Always good to have a consistent place

A decent sushi place, quantity and quality is good for the price point (for example, in comparison to Uni). Tho nothing really stood out in terms of flavor profile or presentation that triggered the will to put this place in my Boston Japanese restaurant list (for example, in comparison to Zuma). The restaurant’s fairly busy on a Friday night, but everyone’s attentive. Their cocktails were not that good, but it could be personal preferences, tried lychee martini, was overly heavy and sweet, and the last one on the cocktail list, it just tasted like ginger beer, couldn’t taste anything else, almost like no alcohol in it. Liked their hot sake tho.

Yusef and Stacey are the best. They made my experiences at Blue ribbon top tier. By far passing expectations. Yusef recommended the best dishes for lunch and Stacey prepared the best leeche martini I have ever had. They make my Wednesday lunch unforgettable. Definitely check this place out. Located in the bottom of the comm hotel.
