Probably one of the best views in the city. Food menu is limited and challenging for vegetarians. In general the food was good but took longer than usual. The view and the fabulous waitstaff made it a good experience.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service I received during my recent visit to Over the Charles. I'm somewhat of a regular, but my sister and brother in law were visiting from out west and I brought them for dinner here on Saturday night. Olivia, our server, was the best- she managed to balance giving us space with checking in just the right amount, and her thoughtful, funny demeanor truly made our visit even more great. View was beautiful, drinks were good. Host was very polite and welcoming. Food was a little bland. Ceasar salad missed garlic and caper. Chowder needed salt and pepper. Service was slow, we waited a good half our for our bill. Specifications in our reservation were not taken into consideration. Chairs not suitable pour heavier people.
