Was looking for a quiet place to get breakfast and this one was the closest to North Station. Simply put, you walk in, choose either a breakfast sandwich or 4 item meal, pay for it then go to the counter when it's ready where it's handed to you on a paper plate. You sit down at a bench and stools and eat. Meal cooked correctly, no complaints. Easy: order, pay, pick up, eat

I don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about. I got their general breakfast plate, which included four limp strips of bacon, eggs (which were good), two “hash brown” things which felt like straight from McDonalds, and four pieces of pre-buttered white toast (was not given an option for bread). I would not say it was bad, but I would call the food aggressively mediocre.
I feel like you can get the same or much much better at almost any breakfast place around town. Perhaps I would have had a better experience with the breakfast sandwiches which were extremely reasonably priced. But for my meal, I was thoroughly underwhelmed, especially considering how many good reviews this restaurant had gotten.

Went in for a super simple breakfast sandwich- English muffin was perfectly fluffy and toasted- made my morning!
Only just realized I've been coming here for 10+ years but have yet to leave a review. Small, family owned business with love & effort put into everything coming out of the kitchen. Great spot for breakfast & lunch during the week. Highly recommend a breakfast sandwich in the AM or a spicy pork plate for the afternoon! Love supporting Bonne Chance Cafe, thanks ya'll.

Waiting for a train or wandering around? This place is a must stop. Very clean and extensive menu. The counter guy was very friendly and welcoming. Had a breakfast plate and sandwich. Came out piping hot and most delicious. We ate in. Can tell the staff here take great pride in their work. Sorry we weren’t here later to try the lunch possibilities. A busy spot with lots of order ahead take out people streaming through. A very good sign of its success.
