Lobster roll was sub par. For $35 I was extremely disappointed. Hardly any lobster.

Freshest most delicious seafood! Had an amazing lobster, awesome shrimp cocktail, muscles and oysters! All delicious fresh and perfect!! James showed me how to rinse the claims in hot water so that any left behind sand wouldn’t end up in my mouth. So delicious!

Fooled myself thinking it would be similar quality to seafood on the cape. The lobster roll was good, but the roll was hardly filled for the price you pay. I’m happy to pay a premium for a lobster roll in Boston, but fill it up like it should be. We also got the bacon wrapped scallops. The scallop was really good but the inner layers of bacon was all fat and hardly cooked. Oh well.

I TRULY didn't see anything to justify the bad reviews & very low rating, having walked the whole market and chosen to eat here!
Lots of lobster although we ordered a special with scallops and bacon, and rice. A strange dish but I didn't dislike it, I don't know if I would order it again.

Decided to try their Clam Chowder while visiting Quincy Market and definitely didn’t recommend. While visiting Boston tried a few different places Clam Chowder and this was at the top. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back in the future.

We had lunch (11/24/2024) from Boston & Maine Fish Co., in Faneuil Hall Market Place. We ordered 1 Hot Buttered Lobster Roll and 2 Crab Cakes. Our total was $50.90!!! The food was horrible. The Hot Buttered Lobster Roll was bland to the point of being tasteless. At $32.71 for one small sandwich, our expectations were higher than the product we received. The Crab Cakes were over-cooked, burned on one side, dry, and thin. At $7.43 per Crab Cake, we anticipated receiving a far better product. We are extremely dissatisfied with our Boston & Maine Fish Co. experience. It was absolutely awful!

I tried a few places at Quincy market and this spot has really good presentation in their display and is the first seafood stop as you enter- could be the reason why most flock to this one. The clam chowder was good (though it was much thicker than the one I had the previous day) we had lobster rolls - two different kinds- one hot buttered and one regular. I didn’t really care for the butter roll as it felt it got too soggy with the butter. The regular lobster rolls had decent filling and tasted as good as the ones I had before from other spots
