Wow this place has changed in 20 years. I have no idea what these bad reviews are talking about. Gyro was amazing lamb plate was fantastic. Pizza was delicious. Employees were friendly.
One criticism is their pretentious uncomfortable bycicle tire chairs but whatever.

The food was bad. The gyro was in a burrito wrapā¦are you joking meā¦? Thatās so wrong. Then they barely put in tzatziki on and it wasnāt even good tzatziki. The chicken was not gyro chicken and tasted rubbery. The fries were bland. No greek would be able to enjoy that āgyroā. The pizza also didnāt taste good.

The owner of the place literally shouted at us, like cussing at us. We were just peacefully eating and the owner just started screaming at us āget out of this placeā. I am never going back to that place. I would never recommend anyone to go that place, food was mediocre too.

I ordered online for a scheduled delivery. I was concerned that I entered the time wrong so I called to confirm the order and time. The lady confirmed the correct order amd time. The pizza never came. But they DID BILL ME!!! I called to rectify but the language barrier made it difficult. Went into the restaurant and they told me I must have ordered at another store. I CALLED AND CONFIRMED EARLIER. I'm so angry they stole my $44! DO NOT EAT HERE!

It's no longer there. They have multiple restaurants in one place and they told me no more pizza. It really upset me.
Pizzas were good. Ambience was okay for a while until they started playing really loud music. If they wanted us to leave, they couldāve just told us. We stayed for 20mins only because it was only 9:30 when we entered and the closing time was 11. And they stopped the music after we left. Other than this incident, I guess itās an okay place to have a quick bite.

There are few places near NU where you can get a slice and soda for $7, let alone a high quality slice with fresh chicken and vegetables. Great place to take a break in the middle of the day and incredibly friendly staff.

Boston House of Pizza is good pizza! Although, in my opinion, itās not as good as University House of Pizza just across the street from the MFA. BHP is Greek style pizza. That means it has a good amount of oil and the cheese is thick. Yum! Greek style pizza is my favorite!
