I enjoyed this place for my second time back after many years, and the place is still welcome and hospitable. Even the Marine veteran that was our server, I had a great conversation with.

The chowder and pumpkin ale was great for a cold day

Boston Sail Loft is a cozy waterfront spot known for its generous portions, fresh seafood, and classic New England charm. The chowder is a standout, and the harbor views add to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. Friendly service and a laid-back atmosphere make it a great stop for casual, satisfying coastal dining.

The chowder!

I only had a weekend in Boston. I had one chowder for lunch. It was so delicious; we went back for another one at night.

Our server had no problem that we only ordered 2 soups during Saturday dinner prime time. She was so sweet and friendly. I wanted to order more but the chowder was so satisfying I really couldn’t eat much after.

Really delicious chowder that was super rich and creamy. Lobster roll was so tasty, just fresh lobster tossed in a super simple sauce and served on a simple, tasty roll. Would absolutely get this again. Cool spot that feels like it would be welcoming to locals and tourists alike. Nice enough but definitely not stuffy. If I lived in the neighborhood, it would be a to spot to grab a drink with friends.

Always a treat whenever we come to Boston! The Seafood Diablo is a personal favorite, and the clam chowder is a must, among the very best that side of the USA! Also, the Boston cream pie was also very yummy and cakey- a little pricey, but good. They are very busy, but wait times are surprisingly not bad even when they're busy. 🦞💙
