I went in to order to go and i was asking for items that I saw online. I was given the menu that they had at the counter which was small totally fine, only to find out that if i would have ordered online I could have got the items I was asking for. Instead I was told they didn't have them. Also food was cold. Smh. How is my food not hot when I waited for it.

I stopped by Bostonia Public House while exploring the area near Faneuil Hall, and it felt like a lively mix between a modern restaurant and a classic Boston pub. The interior is stylish but still relaxed, with a big bar, warm lighting, and a crowd that’s a mix of locals, business people, and tourists.
I tried one of their seafood dishes, and it was really satisfying. The restaurant is known for New England-style food like lobster roll, clam chowder, and lobster mac & cheese, along with other American comfort dishes. The portions were generous and the flavors felt rich and well prepared.
The atmosphere was one of the highlights. It’s energetic and social, especially in the evening when the bar gets busy and there’s sometimes live music. It’s definitely more of a lively dining spot than a quiet restaurant.
Overall, Bostonia Public House is a great place if you want good food, drinks, and a vibrant Boston nightlife vibe. It’s perfect for dinner with friends or weekend brunch, especially after walking around the historic downtown area

I’m sitting here at the restaurant trying to figure out how to finish my food, because I’m incredibly full, but the food is heaven. I happen to stumble across Bostonia in 2014 when visiting Boston, now I come every time I’m in town. I’ve visited Bostonia on work trips, girls weekends etc. and it’s always a big hit! Thank you Bostonia for twelve years of amazing food, phone charging and epic memories! Best restaurant in Boston!

A really strong 4-star experience! The food was definitely the highlight of the visit, easily earning 4 stars for quality and taste. Went back in November, the waiter was super nice and helpful. But the food was phenomenal. I remember getting a scallop dish, boy do I want some right now. And my partner got a steak and he was happy with his meal as well.

Walked in for Saturday brunch without a reservation. Great ultimate Bloody Mary bar and ambiance. Upstairs and downstairs are equally good. Felt welcomed and service was attentive and upbeat. Food was just fine and not overpriced. Great location for hitting the Boston sites in the area. Would return.
This restaurant was an absolute gem, especially with its lovely outdoor seating and consistently amazing food. It quickly became one of our favorite spots during our Boston visit. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the crab-crusted cod truly stole the show—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The lobster roll was another highlight, packed with tender meat and done just right. Between the inviting atmosphere, great location, and standout dishes, it was a dining experience we’ll be thinking about long after the trip. Definitely a place we’d return to without hesitation.

Very disappointing, we were treated like merchandise. The service was stressful and rude. They asked us to leave urgently while we were finishing our drink so other clients could take place. They did not warn us that we had a limited time to eat until they said « you have 15 minutes to leave ». Then, 10 minutes later, the lady came back and aggressively required us to go away. I do not recommend.

Walking in smells like a pub, but the food and whisky list made it classier. Rib, wings and mozzerela were all tasty. Burger was very good, although a little spicy with so many jalapenos. Rabbit Hole Cavehill is a solid pour.

I had a terrible experience with my clients at lunch yesterday. The waiter was not attentive at all and one of the orders was completely messed up. I will never be going to Bostonia again and will be sharing my feedback with other business people in town.
