Arrived very late (after 930 pm) and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait and also immediate seating at a booth .
They stay open apparently very late which is a plus for anyone wanting to dine in late or arriving on a late flight into town .
There is a nice low lighted feeling and quiet setting when I sat down . Staff was very accommodating and drink menu is extensive with a vast selection of higher end brands (always a good sign for me )
After getting our cocktails we ordered two entrees. Menu is detailed and indicates what dishes are gluten free but also can be altered to be gf ( menus state GFA ) . Our server was very knowledgeable about ingredients .
We got the grilled swordfish that was not gluten free and the crab crusted cod that was prepared GF .
The swordfish was perfectly grilled and the start of this fish was the creamy potatoes with mushrooms , small pieces of andouille sausage and a beure blanc sauce on the bottom . Heavenly combination !
COD was equally perfectly cooked with black rice as a base and a deliciously prepared squash , artichoke & cherry tomatoes topping .
Absolutely amazing dinner , great high end cocktails , late night dinning experience.
Would come back in a heartbeat next time I am in town !
Great brunch menu!
Great place for lunch. Was in Boston for a Red Sox game and found this place by chance. Enjoyed a great glass of wine plus dessert as well.
Cute two story restaurant. Seems like it gets pretty busy. I tried the steak (sans dairy). The salad was okay. Nicely dressed. The fries were mid. The steak was overcooked for what I asked for. But it was also average. My date ate everything off of the plate and they got a pork chop entree.
Poor management, lack of empathy with employees.
Food is amazing, Izzy is amazing, the live piano music is amazing. Putting this place on my list of top 10 restaurants I have ever been too. If you come here, you have to try the half chicken with potatoes, side of DC, and sweet potatoe donuts. Trust me, you will not regret this order. Izzy (my waitress), if you see this, girl you rock.
Great spot. Listened to some live music over there the other day.... piano and stand up bass
Good nice. Nice atmosphere and quick service.
One of the better pub scenes we visited!
A huge bar to accompany the many tables allowed for a lot of people to enjoy a Saturday night. With the games on the TVs, camaraderie was high and I think that added to the great food and drinks.
We started with the queso and loved it. It had a lot of fresh toppings, but the underside was where the hidden gems were. Great app for the table.
Then, everyone was getting lobster rolls. These hot buttered one was really tasty. The bread was warm and had the perfect crunch, and there was a lot of lobster in the roll. Fried were pretty good, too. While not the “best” I had in Boston, I’d totally order here again.
Service was flying all night. Great folks working there and certainly made the bill worth every cent!

Really enjoyed the clam chowder. The hot lobster roll was good but the lobster itself was poached too long so it was a bit chewy.

Famous for their "build you own Bloody" bar; which is outstanding! $20 let's you create your personal bloody, with choices ranging from sweet (mini candy bars and danish) to savory - everything from stuffed olives to mini sliders and ribs to chicken tenders and cold shrimp. This is truly a test of how well you can stack your preferences ( see pix). The rest of the food is mezza mezza, we chose apps, including the hummus, salt & pepper wings and meatballs. Kind of pricey (4 people $275) this included additional drinks. The big winner is the bloody bar.

The bartender Colleen was awesome! We were greeted as soon as we sat down. She made fabulous espresso martinis and our food came super fast. The food was great! Love the breakfast potatoes. Awesome atmosphere and staff! Highly recommend!
