Service was great, atmosphere awesome. The pastries were nothing to write home about. Definitely pricey, but it's to be expected. It's the North End.

We tried the lobster tail pastry, pistachio cannoli, and steak and cheese arancini. They were all amazing!

A North End staple, Bova’s has my favorite cannolis in the city, and personally recommend the pistachio cannolis. A great value and experience. If you enjoy baked goods this place is exceptional for the atmosphere, quality, and value.

Good bakery, not the best.
We ordered a variety of pastries and cookies, they were all fine. Busy place but service is efficient.

This is a review for our 2025 visit.

Overpriced for the quality. This older man packed more goods we did not choose and charged more, too.

Baked goods not as authentic in taste or texture as we had expected. We used to go there when the price was decent. Now the price is steep for what you get and more first timers to North End.

It has become a tourist trap for the past 10 plus years, and this last visit marred our fond menories. Visually enticing but not matched in taste.

And, please, stop using Styrofoam containers. Too much landfills and bulky for take out.

2 Indian girls behind the counter next to the entrance were not responding to our questions. We would rather interact with the local faces who know their stuff - the whole reason to visit North End local stores.

The Aranchini is so good. Better than the ones in naples! The staff is so friendly! We also tried the cheesecake, not too sweet and perfect!

For $15 plus taxes half of a smaller cold “calzone” is a rip off and it was not that good for that price. Unless the delivery guy took the other half hmm
