Good dolci, awesome to find arancini in the US. It' a tourist destination, so expect the prices and crowded atmosphere to reflect that

Bova's has the BEST canolis in North End. Period. No other bakery comes close! Love the service here too! The warmest and friendliest staff. Five stars all around.

Very small location and it was crowded inside. No rhyme or rhythm to the line, people were just being called to be helped so I jumped in on the chaos.I ordered the chocolate fudge cake. That was so good. I was also recommended a cannoli that they are known for. I cannot remember the name because I wasn’t given a receipt. No prices were listed for these two items and I was charged $15 total. Would have appreciated seeing what I paid for each item.I’d come back again, but would like to have it less chaotic to ask more questions about the products. Overall, the experience felt so rushed.

Who makes a cannoli without ricotta? I got the cappuccino and my husband got the Oreo and they were both made with whipped cream, which was a huge let down! My dad got the chocolate chip, which was made normally with ricotta. Why wouldn't all the cannolis be made with ricotta? We went here to test the Mike's vs Bova's debate and unfortunately, we're sticking with Mike's because all their flavored cannolis are still ricotta like they're supposed to be. There's also no menu or anything that I saw and with everyone blocking the counters inside, it's hard to see what's available.

Excellent pastries, and the guy Dominic behind the counter in the morning is a good dude. I'll be going here instead of MIkes from now on.

Stopped here late night and I was surprised that they are open 24 hours a day. We tried a couple of the arancini balls, cookies and cannolis and all were good. It does get a little chaotic on a late Saturday night as they need a door man to control the head count in the store and it does have a small stressful buying experience.

Best bakery in the North End!! They have several different flavors of cannolis—all are fantastic. This place has much more of a locals vibe than Mike’s.

Some selections are pricey but let me tell you, there's clearly a reason why. We were not expecting their treats to be that good, even with the many recommendations provided beforehand that would tell us otherwise. The rainbow cookies were OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious, and we've tried our fair share of Italian sweets. We dabbled in various cookies, coconut macaroons, and chocolate covered strawberries. Apparently we went at a great time on a Sunday evening after dinner as the service was quick and there was zero line. The space is your typical Italian bakery - homey and packed with an overwhelming amount of color and deliciousness. Open 24 hours, and again, I can understand why. Seriously, find the time to go!
Great coconut cake and blueberry cheesecake. Open 24 hours

I love this bakery. It's an old neighborhood bakery. From cannolis to Italian cookies, they were simply yummy. I'd highly recommend visiting this bakery and sampling different cookies. I just wished I could have had more.
