Some of the best food in Boston is delivered by chatty servers who don't wear uniforms to tables that are not all the same in Forest Hills, which is not one of the city's fancy neighborhoods. They keep the miracle alive by continuing to add remarkable new items, such as the perfect small squash tart in a fragile rye flour shell with a layer of melted triple cream brie topped by a crumble of walnuts and herbs. What a great meal! Every plate we ordered was delicious! Well balanced, interesting, gorgeous food, and a low key, friendly but energetic vibe. The kitchen accommodated some odd dietary restrictions gracefully, and the whole evening was a joy. Highly recommend.
Outstanding food, the dishes were so thoughtful in presentation and the ingredients. Tasted great and had fun presentation. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes and provided great insight and recommendations. Plates came out quickly but we were not rushed through our meal by any means.
