Cute and quaint little diner that feels like you’re stepping back in time. I walked in with a party of 3 on a Saturday morning and we only waited 5 minutes for a table. Portions were generous and food was good. Nice neighborhood spot!

I stayed in Brighton for two weeks, and when I discovered this place, it was my safe place to go and eat. I recommended a lot their pancakes. I've never eaten something like this before. The pancakes with blueberry and strawberry jam was the my perfect breakfast these last days. This is my favorite place to back when I return to Boston.

A nice little cafe at the corner of Commonwealth and Washington. Fairly cheap prices for the area. Breakfast and lunch fare. Coffee was nice.

My partner and I only moved into the neighborhood 2 days ago, and since we have nothing set up yet we decided to eat breakfast out. This was the closest spot to us, so we gave it a try and wow, what phenomenal food at a phenomenal price. We will be back often.

Service was good, but food was not. Pancakes were difficult to eat and chocolate chips were just placed in holes on top.

Gross. I’ve ordered here for breakfast at least 10x…minute requests receive 50/50 shot of being done so I get what I want….I don’t think it would be much to ask to have a bagel toasted. Neither sandwich was good this morning -2 doughy bagels no toast or crisp at all.., but bacon was uncooked also—yuck. If you offer delivery than do it right or not at all

I only ate here in person many years ago. It was always empty then. From reading recent reviews it sounds as if it is s very popular spot for weekend brunch.
This was my go to place five years ago during lockdown as the prices were great with tasty donuts and sandwiches.
Skip ahead to 2023 to the present and it got more expensive and quality uneven. This morning my grilled hot dog was very tasty but my spaghetti with garlic and oil had neither garlic nor oil. It was just cold, slightly mushy pasta with a little stale grated cheese on it. Nothing else.
Even though I have gotten lousy food from them sometimes in the last two years, I see they have a loyal following and do want to hurt their ratings too much. They do need quality control so as to make the quality of their lunch items more consistent.

Food it is really good the lady that served the food is very friendly and nice, i would recommend a tv for the background noise or a radio idk something since it was very silent when i went

Probably the greatest eatery in the city.

The food is okay, bread pretty old, people here are rude and unpleasant. I don't recommend this place.
