Great time at Bully Day. Andy showed me a great time. Great cocktails, spirits, and vibes.
Went on A late Saturday afternoon. Only two other folks were inside. My husband and almost 2 year old walked in and instantly greeted by an employee who said hi to my kid and offered us water and proceeded to take our drink order. Within seconds another employee informed me that they were 21+ (had no idea), and couldn’t have the little one walking around bc of employees being in and out. At this point, I would have immediately apologized and left having not realized we couldn’t have our daughter there. Instead, the employee said, looks like you have a couple of drinks. I then said I had
No idea, apologized, offered to leave. All employees should know the policy and feel equipped to inform folks before taking their money and drink order. And if you truly don’t care, then don’t say anything. When our drinks were brought to us, we said thank you and asked for the check. The employee seemed shocked and said “are you sure?” And asked if I wanted Jenga (I’m assuming got my daughter). In hindsight, I should have given the feedback in the moment and left before drinks were poured but this was the first time I felt awkward as a parent, so we were just processing the experience. The drinks were great, as usual but just an awkward and quite candidly avoidable situation.
We did a tour and our guide was friendly and informative. They let you order drinks prior to the tour and offer lots of time to ask questions. Their small bar area is gorgeous and all the drinks are perfect!
Sean(?) and Angel have soooo much historical and mixilogical knowledge. We had such a good time
Loved the tour! If you want a truly refined experience in Boston area, this is your place!
Wow I took a cocktail class here last night and it was so much fun!! Sailor was a fantastic teacher and I learned a lot in a really cool space. We made a bees knees and a daiquiri, they were both fabulous. You can really tell there is a high attention to detail. Drinks on the regular menu were also really good (and well-priced). Can’t recommend a visit here enough, I can’t wait to go back!
Wow, just wow. Went to Bully Boy with a crew this afternoon and we had the most delightful time, all due to the lovely and talented Jack (shout-out Jack). Had some delectable cocktails and then went on an awesome tour led by Jack. After hearing his delightful history as a salesman, Jack easily sent us home $200 poorer, but a whole lot richer in spirit. WE LOVE JACK AND BULLY BOY!!!!!
Sailor , I'm sorry that I'm late with this review, the day was a blur. We had a very good experience and a great time learning with you, I made sure you knew you had great stage presence and you're a skilled bartender as well. Yan, Alex , Priscilla, Sarah all thank you for the lessons and your passion and definitely your patience with all of us.
Sailor was one of the nicest bartenders I’ve ever met. She was sweet and informative and her class was paced well so that no one got left behind. And also we had all questions answered. We learned about some very unique drinks. Thank you Sailor we enjoyed it very much and we are very excited to try the drinks at home with our new Bourbon.
The most kind and welcoming bartenders I have ever encountered in my whole life. And then the cocktails were amazingly crafted and delicious. And I love them. I would die for them.

Tour was great, drinks were great. Very informative staff!
Their honey maple tables, spacious rooms, and plush seats are a haven for anyone who appreciates a genuine speakeasy for enjoying a good drink with friends. As someone who doesn’t drink, their juniper belt is my go-to, and it is zesty. The distillery itself is in a pleasant part of town, as the staff is so friendly and wants you to truly enjoy yourself.
Fantastic tour, we learned a lot, and got to taste some fantastic spirits. A great way to spend an afternoon, I highly recommend Bully Boy!

Such a great experience in Boston. The Tour is super fun. It feels so private and very informative. A must do in Boston. Definitely recommend if you like rum, gin, bourbon, whiskey and more.
