You'll receive a text 30 minutes prior to your reservation time saying "we're here waiting for you". So of course I rushed to get there. I was 20 minutes early. Ridiculous. Food:meh. And this is a neighborhood place which I always want to like.
delicious food, decent service, great atmosphere (the restaurant had a “cool tropical” vibe). But I do think it’s quite expensive for the value though.
Moderately over-priced but always yummy
Cool place! We sat out on the shady and spacious patio, service was attentive and fast. The food was creative and surprisingly good. The patio slate floor looked like it had seen better days, the chairs were flimsy metal, and the prices seemed too high ($20 for a small plate of two small fish tacos, with a suggestion of two to three small plates per person!?) I got one small plate and shared two others with friends and was fine. Overall enjoyable vibe with good food.
Great food and service.in the courtyard so noise was not a problem....have never eaten indoors.
It’s frustrating to pay $17 for a cocktail (which comes to around $22 after tax and tip) and end up with mostly a glass of ice. The drink was so watered down and small it felt like a rip-off. What’s even more frustrating is that when I brought it up to the waitress, she completely ignored the complaint. Honestly, the disappointment overshadowed everything else, I couldn’t even enjoy the rest of the experience.
Food was ok - portions were small though. The garlic shrimp was the best thing we had. A good lively spots for groups rather than a date night
Brunch Enchiladas and the Tuna Tostada are incredibly good! The mix of the flavors are just too good!
We went to Cosmica for drag brunch, and it was phenomenal. The food was amazing. Cocktails outstanding. And the drag performers were so fierce and fun. It was the perfect outing.
It was cute, I liked the atmosphere. The food was small portions however everything tasted so good, we kept ordering more as we were not full with our dishes. I will come back if I am in the area.

Really didn’t love the tacos or guacamole. The chips were good!
Food: Expensive attempts at mexican food. I would say the food tasted decent but the quantity of food was absurdly low, the chicken for Fajitas was dry and overall I have had better mexican at a Food truck in Puerto Rico at 11 pm. The question is does the service or ambience compensate for this absurdly priced simple mexican food?
Service: Had one server constantly try to clear the table. Literally, every 3 minutes would try to take away a half eaten plate of anything inspite of saying not to clear a prior plate. Was really irritating!
Atmosphere: LOUD music. Okay for people who want to be deaf someday down the line or who are already dead and want to enjoy the music? Hearing each other was awesome as soon as we stepped out.
Spent 45 per head WITHOUT drinks and ate relatively light
In summary, I shall not be going back for expensive average mexican food with a chaotic atmosphere.
The best part of the experience was being seated fast and the team finding a low table for my mother to sit as she has a painful leg. Would NOT recommend it for vegetarians.
Great spot for drinks and dessert. Food prices are high and portions small, even for "large" plates.
We were seated in a corner table that was uncomfortably warm. Food was good just not amazing, drinks were ok. Server was very sweet and great.
Great atmosphere and service in this fun Mexican in the South End! Unique menu had something for everyone!
