First time stopping in to this place and honestly this is some of the best customer service I've had in Boston in a long time. Tania who made my sandwhich behind the counter was very friendly. This sandwich is stacked too which caught my be surprise. Sandwhich was tasty. If your in the area and are looking for a quick bite, this place has a great variety of options that will be good for everyone.Message to the management staff here: I was really sad I wasn't able to give these girls a tip for their great service and hard work. Please make tipping an option for card payments and put a tip jar out for them! Thank you!

Love this place. Seriously look forward to it every week. I’m giving 5 stars, but the customer service deserves 10 minimum. I was decanted when I saw they are closed for the entire summer until Fall, and they already close on weekends and weekdays as early as 4pm which is not opened long enough in my opinion. best cafe ever just needs to be open longer

I love going there for meal swipes and getting breakfast and lunch overall the staff is very nice and compliant. BUT there is one employee who is extremely extremely rude. When making my order I asked for lettuce and onions and she put tomatoes and onions on my sandwich. Although I decided to just leave the tomatoes, when I asked for her to add lettuce she let out a large sigh, rolled her eyes and put the lettuce onto my sandwich, wrapped it and slammed it on the counter aggressive to show her annoyance. When checking out I was looking at a drink to choose for my meal plan and she abruptly tells me, with extreme attitude to just hand me my card because they're busy and I'm taking too long. I looked behind me and I was holding up no line, people were still placing orders. I am extremely disappointed that she continues to work there and continues to disrespect costumers. It's part of her job to help and to serve customers. She makes the environment toxic and she ruined my morning.

Tiny, but the food was of great value for a meal swipe (or even paid out-of-pocket). All the people there were incredibly kind and helpful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Good food in a pinch

Their pastries are really amazing, the people are nice, and I love the BYO salad bowls. The only thing that disappointed me was their breakfast sandwich... it was extremely fake and they have the wrong amount of calories listed... they said it was 150... but it's actually 270

There’s an employee who is extremely rude and publicly shamed customers. She calls customers liar in front of the store and has made some cry. Dont give your business to this cafe until they fire her

There is one employee there who is extremely rude and makes Cafe Crossing a toxic eating experience! I've witnessed this employee make a young woman tear up because she publicly shamed her for asking for kale at the second station instead of at the first station. The employee called it "stupid" and caused a scene, obviously embarrassing the young woman over nothing. Today I went in there to get the sandwich that I get everyday. Everyday, I ask for it without cheese as I can not eat dairy. When this employee accidentally put on cheese, I corrected her and apologized for the inconvenience and continued to explain how I can not eat it. She aggressively threw out the sandwich and continued to lie to customers AND other employees that I had never told her. Shocked from her unprofessionalism, I looked at one of the other employees and told her that I had said something, as it was my only way to defend myself. The moment I walked towards the door to leave after paying, this employee began AGAIN to call me a LIAR to a line of customers and the employees. I was absolutely appalled as I remained polite to her during the entire thing and did not understand how she could have the audacity to declare me as a liar to essentially the entire store, when in reality, she just wasn't listening to me. This has happened so many times and I'm sure if Cafe Crossing where to ask other customers about this employee they would say how they always receive an attitude from her. I've made a formal complaint and I hope they do something about the behavior of this employee because no customer or young adult should feel like they have to defend their integrity over a sandwich. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Fresh, interesting and delicious food. Great staff! Food was ready super fast and staff accommodated our requests with no problems and with a smile! Looking forward to come back and have the Asian bowl again.
