Ate here in-between my visit as I arrived to the museum hungry. 😂 It was definitely busy, but there was a table for one available and I got seated right away. The service was alright...not very attentive, but it was quite busy and tables were rotating fast with new customers. I ordered the shrimp salad and was pleasantly surprised. I expected small, low-quality shrimp, but instead got several large, fresh, and high-quality shrimp — much better than I imagined. Of course, the price is on the higher side, but since it’s inside a museum café, that’s expected. At least the quality matches the price, and overall the experience was very good.
I ordered Chicken Salad Tartine. It was absolutely tasteless. It was not even bad. It just didn't had any taste. And the price of this tasteless dish was $22. Additionally, the serving size was unbelievably small, especially for the US standards. Chocolate Budino was okay, but nothing special. It's really sad that this kind of cafe is located in the building of this great museum.
