I ordered “pasta” with mushroom as it was written in a menu which had to be real pasta. Instead I was brought ramen noodles (cooked for about 50%) heated up in a microwave mixed with mushroom souse. Maybe in the US it’s a normal, but for Europe its nonsense. But even for the US it had to be cooked pasta.

Wonderful Amazing Mediterranean food. The quality produce and cooking shine through. I highly recommend the Mezza platter. Surprisingly amazing side : Sweet potato fries were heavenly! Chicken thigh skewers very good. The accompanying side salad so refreshing with pomegranate!!

Really disappointed because I went to the Cafe Landwer in Toronto and it was amazing. This experience however, was far from that. Came here, ordered an oat latte and the waitress confirmed my order back to me correctly. When the drink came it tasted like dairy milk but because she’d confirmed the order correctly I thought I must be mistaken so I continued to drink it until my food came. I asked her if it was oat milk and she said no it’s a regular latte so I asked it to be changed. When the cheque came I’d been charged for both lattes and when I disputed it, the waitress said ‘well you drank half of the first one’. I drank it because how was I supposed to know it was incorrect?! When I said this, she said ‘I can discount the second one for you’. I said no can you take the second latte off the bill completely. I’m really shocked that I even had to ask for this, given it was her mistake, and her attitude towards me was really rude. I tipped 2 dollars but looking back I shouldn’t have tipped at all. Making mistakes with orders I can understand, we’re all human. But the treatment following the mistake is what has led to this review

TLDR: Food tastes delicious, atmosphere + location is amazing. Only downside was that food came out slow & a bit cold (due to waiting for app to be served with entree).
Visited with a buddy to catch up, and we ordered the Halloumi Sticks (6.2/10), Short-Rib Shakshuka (9.2/10), Chicken Thigh Kebab (8.5/10), and the Rosalachs (9.5/10).
The entrees had a great balance of protein/carb/fiber as they all came with a side salad and bread/crunchy potatoes (both were delicious sides).
The Rosalachs are a classic and a standout. The dessert is baked from pizza dough so it is fluffy and delicious.
The Halloumi sticks were not great, and I believe it's largely attributed to it being served near-room-temp, when the cheese already stiffend, instead of right out of the fryer where the cheese is near melted. If the apps were served before the entrees, that would've perfected the dinner.
