A couple weeks ago, my friend and I went into Becca’s Kitchen after practice. We had been walking around Mass Ave for about 30 minutes trying to find somewhere to sit and eat after McDonald’s was packed and smoky. We were tired, hungry, and just needed a place to sit.
The restaurant looked really nice, and the lady at the front kindly told us we could sit down. But as soon as we did, the owner came out upset, questioning why we had McDonald’s. Even after we explained that we asked for permission, he kept going on with an attitude about how we shouldn’t be eating food from another place there — even though the restaurant was empty.
We apologized and got up to leave, and he started speaking in Italian with an irritated tone, which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable.
The place itself is pretty, but the owner’s attitude completely ruined the experience. Definitely not planning to return.

Do not waste your money on an establishment like this. This place serves pizza that has been sitting all day long on wooden boards that are washed inadequately so when you get the pizza it smells and tastes like dish soap. This being right next to the hospital is a huge concern. The guy at the register is also very confrontational & when informed of the issue acted as if it weren’t an issue and began arguing with me because I keep coming & the dish is still soapy. If you wNg food served on a soapy dish that’s not fully washed eat there if you want good clean food that doesn’t come with bad energy eat anywhere else.
Amazing food! We had pasta, pizza, sandwiches, salad and tiramisu, and everything was 10/10!
Ever since ownership changed, they are NEVER accepting any orders on UberEats, it’s bizarre. For almost a full year, whenever I check (during their business hours), they have “not accepting orders” on. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants but this is just ridiculous and entirely too unprofessional. I live only about a mile from this place but refuse to go at times due to this.
The meatball sub with eggplant was the best I’ve had in a long time in Boston. The sub is a huge size and we will be coming back to this place for a long time, I wanna try more things on the menu.
chicken ceasar wrap with bread chicken is soo good!! service is great!!
This is the worst restaurant everPeople shouldn’t go eat there. I went and found hair in the food, and there was someone smoking cigarettes in the kitchen it smelled really badThe place is just awful
This was a delivery order. The food was great, fresh and very tasty. I placed the order online but called to confirm, it turned out the delivery date was wrong. The gentleman that helped me went above and beyond to help me fix the order. He fixed it and got the delivery to me in a timely manner. I’m very grateful he did that. I’m very pleased with the service and food.
Great restaurant! We cater from them every week. Fast service and the pizza is always good.
Food tastes alright, pizzas quite good, but quantity of food is quickly decreasing and prices absurdly increasing (they even crossed out all prices from their menus in person). Its nearby competitors are much more fairly priced.

Pizza was amazing. Incredible crust. I believe that the owner is from Sicily und uses family recipes. My son asked for parmesan and came back with the grated type in a jar, but then the owner came out with the good blocks and grated freshly over our pizzas. Glad we took a chance on this place. Will be back. ??

I ordered the chocolate chip cake took a couple bites and end up biting into a plastic suction cup call the owner he told me to come back he'll give me a new one but I said I'm not walking all the way back there that you should just be aware of things falling into places where people eat
