Such a welcoming atmosphere at a time most places would discourage you from even coming in. We were a a group of three coming in at 10 minutes before closing time (11pm) on a Saturday night after a concert at Symphony Hall. Our order was taken with patience and kindness, and there was no reminder that they were closing in minutes. Our food was delicious: a salmon sandwich, portabella mushroom sandwich, a couple of decaf coffees, and a smoothie. Everything was really good, but the two kind people working there that late were what I'll remember most.

I love Caffe Bene, it's one of my go to spots! Their drinks are exceptional, and I especially recommend their matcha frappe / smoothie. Also, the actual cafe is so cute - the vibes are so cozy and it's a perfect place to study or hang out with friends. And the staff are all super friendly! I've personally never tried their food options, but my friend got their grilled cheese and said it was amazing - I will definitely be trying their food soon. The only reason I'm not giving this place a 5 is because it is a bit expensive - but other than that, I love it! I would 100% recommend this place.

This place is pretty expensive for the coffee and it wasn't the greatest tasting thing.1. It was cold.2. It tasted like water.3. It took a long time prepare.I would appreciate next time if it's an old brew of coffee to notify me and I would've changed my order.Grilled Cheese sandwhich.1. It was okay. Tasted like a grilled cheese.Menu:the most interesting thing was the viet subs on the far right but I didn't see it. Had a I did I would've ordered that. I would've moved that towards the middle.
