Great place with a cozy atmosphere! The coffee was excellent and the sandwich was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend stopping by for a quick bite or a relaxing break.

Great little cafe option if in this area of Boston. Really great friendly service and good recommendation from host for the Single Source coffee option. Great pit stop whilst strolling around this area.

I know Nero coffee as a high quality espresso in Europe. But in Newbury isn't the same...Sorry but I didn't like nor the espresso nor the service and it was super expensive to top it all...

There are a few different locations in Boston and this was definitely one of the smaller ones. It was very crowded with a long line and only 2 people behind the counter. One was ringing up and the other was making the drinks. I ordered a Pistachio croissant with an iced Strawberry Vanilla Matcha Latte for carry out. The croissant was excellent but the latte had a bad aftertaste to it. It tasted like it had been made in equipment that had not been cleaned out from a previous drink. I had already started walking down the sidewalk when I realized the aftertaste so I didn't take it back and considered throwing it out. After ordering my food there were about 6 people waiting in front of me and not enough space. I ended up blocking the bathroom door and constantly had to move around, eventually sitting down to wait at an empty table. If I go to Nero again I will try another location to see if it is a bit bigger with a less crowded atmosphere.

I’ve been coming here for a few months before church and I can’t say enough amazing things about every aspect of the experience… I avoided it for a while because I didn’t want to waste a trip into the city on “a chain” but while I always seek out Nero over Starbucks anyway, THIS Nero is a stand out and stand alone! The menu is amazing, the food is diverse and fresh, the service is friendly and consistent, and (this IS Newbury St) the price is actually low!! I can barely manage to spend $20 here, today I had a chocolate croissant, sparkling water, honey spice latte, and Florentine Benedict!!

Please make a special trip to see this for yourself!!

I went to the line to buy coffee while my girlfriend got in the line to use the bathroom and the woman at the register embarrassed her, telling her the line was too long to wait at while there were at least 6 other people waiting. The woman then called her “babe” condescendingly.
