Best chai latte I’ve ever had in my life. And this is where I got my cannolis from instead of waiting in long lines for the popular spots. They’re filled fresh to order and are delicious.

Great little nightcap spot in Boston’s North End. Cozy, old-school Italian feel with friendly service that happily welcomes families. The pistachio martini is the clear standout — rich, creamy, and finished with a scoop of pistachio gelato that makes it part dessert, part cocktail. The gelato itself leans more American-style than traditional Italian, but still tasty and fun.
Nice spot overall — likely worth a 4.3-4.5, but it gets the round-down on the scorecard. Perfect place to unwind after dinner nearby — relaxed, low-key, and very North End.

Owner rudely greeted us upon entry by saying they aren't open for dinner. We were just trying to get a drink. Owner old lady continued to be rude. Rest of the staff were so nice and had to apologize due to the owners behavior. Such a sad way to run a business. She needs to stay home. Apparently she does this all the time.
Came in from out of town, just walking around and decided to stop in for a drink. Drinks were fabulous however, the owner (lady) was RUDE! From the very moment we walked in, she continued to be rude, talked down to us, rolled her eyes, etc.. The Wait staff were excellent and verified that the rude lady was in fact the owner. I cannot believe she is a restaurant business owner. Customer service is far from her strong suit! Treated like garbage and angry about the experience even though the drinks were good.

What an atmosphere. The front of the cafe is open to the weather and the inside has small European style cafe tables and chairs. The pastry is fantastic. Great spot to hang out or come for a post meal drink and pastry. The beers are cold and the espresso martinis are excellent. The service is excellent. I highly recommend going here. It's my go to spot every time I'm in the North End.
Best Pistachio martini in the city. Espresso martini is exceptional too
Partner & I went to get gelati last night to find you guys closed well before it says you do. Very disappointing especially when navigating from south Boston to the north end specifically for a singular place
Great atmosphere, friendly, personal service, wonderful gelato, really great coffee also. We went to Café Paradiso every night after dinner, a real find.
I found myself at Caffe Paradiso with 2 of my closest friends, 3 aperols and 1 pistachio martini deep on a beautiful spring day in Boston at 4pm on a Friday. It was euphoric.
I'm born and raised in LA, so I never understood the argument for people loving seasons. You'd rather freeze your bum off half the year than be warm year round? Yeah, ok...
But living in New York for the past 3 years, I understand it. There is something about earning that first nice day after making it through a harsh winter that makes it so much more rewarding. You earned it. I imagine it's like going on a gnarly diet for 5 months, and then you have that first bacon cheeseburger. Of course that burger is always great, but it will never be better than when you've been starving yourself for months and then demolish it.
There's also this collective energy in the air where everyone NEEDS to be outside. The entire city is defrosting. You can feel it. It's tangible.
Personally, I'd still take the nice weather year round but at least I understand the argument now. It's always good to put yourself in someone else's shoes. It's the only real way to understand the world.

Nothing that will blow you away but it just hits the spot everytime! Great late night spot for good well priced cocktails and good desserts. I always enjoy ending a night here if I’m in the area.

This place was a laidback, fun place to have dessert away from the madhouses of Mike's or Modern Pastry Shop. Tables are pretty close together, but not cramped. The hazelnut gelato was really good, and the chocolate chip cannoli was honestly better than Mike's. Very friendly waiter who was willing to put the Red Sox game on one of the TVs for us. I got the impression that this place caters more to locals.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting with a perfect balance of style and comfort. I would definitely come back again!
Tea in a teapot
And they have small cannolis
Bummer all the soccer scarfs are gone
Very good!
Tremendous. One of the oldest and most important cafes on Hanover Street. The North End of Boston is amazing..
