We went on Saturday evening because we heard it has very good tiramisu. It was a busy day but they could give us a table immediately, but it was right next to the bathroom. I could smell the air freshener every time someone opened the door and had to share the space with people lining up for the bathroom.

Service was good and bad. The hostess who seated us just left us there. We were trying to be patient but waited for about 15 minutes. The crowd slowed down a little and nobody came to take our order till we found they did not send us a server. We saw another table was experiencing the same. But the server was friendly once she was assigned to our table.

Food is good but nothing incredibly special. My sfogliatella got pretty good layers but it did not look like the very flaky one other people posted. I really wonder why. Tiramisu is very airy and light. Food was good, but was it worth a trip? I would say no. It is a good spot to check if you are already in North End.

Caffè Vittoria is a charming, old-world café offering rich espresso, delicious pastries, and a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. The vintage decor and friendly service make it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. A must-visit in the North End for authentic Italian coffeehouse vibes.

Caffé Vittoria is one of those timeless Boston spots that hits all the right notes. The desserts were absolutely out of this world—especially the tiramisu, the rum cake, and the pistachio treats, each bursting with rich flavor and beautifully balanced sweetness. Paired with one of their excellent espresso martinis, it was dessert perfection.

The café itself has a lively, buzzing atmosphere that makes it feel warm, inviting, and unmistakably authentic. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger, enjoy the energy, and savor every bite.

One important note: it’s cash only, so come prepared. For anyone with a sweet tooth or looking for a classic experience, Caffé Vittoria is a must.

If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. This place had the nerve to take our IDs into a back room, disappear with them, and then come back just to deny us service with zero explanation. We’re from Michigan, and when we asked what “second form” even meant, the manager refused to answer and acted like we were bothering him. The attitude was unbelievable. If you’re in your late 20s or early 30s, don’t even bother — they clearly don’t want your business.

Lived in Boston 25 years. Walked in for the first time today, 5/5 stars. They deserve it. The vibe in here was just so wonderful and joyful. The staff was so nice. There was this guy from El Salvador that was so helpful & welcoming me. I bought a triple espresso. So good! I will be a regular customer moving forward.

Lovely coffee shop. Cappuccinos were awesome as was the lobster tail pastry (sfogliatella w cream filling). A must stop for breakfast or a little break in the walking.

Delicious pastries and espresso for reasonable prices, served in a classic Italian cafe full of vintage flair. The only downside was that we felt rushed by our server. Come prepared to pay with cash.

Best tiramisu I have ever had but extremely rude and slow servers. The chocolate mousse cake was average. They are cash only.

Café Vittoria in North Boston exudes vintage Italian charm with its rustic wood interiors. I ordered the Cioccolato Caldo, a luxuriously thick hot chocolate topped with whipped cream—it was rich and comforting. The Choco Mousse Cake and Tiramisu were both excellent; the mousse was light and decadent, while the tiramisu struck the perfect espresso-mascarpone balance. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes.

A quick tip: they only take cash, so plan ahead. Overall, Café Vittoria is a North End gem—a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian desserts in a warm, old-world setting.
