A nice spot for Italian food in the north end! The fried mozzarella appetizer was excellent and the eggplant parm was good, just a little smooshy. The pasta that came with the eggplant parm was the best food we had, but there were only a tiny portion, so if we come back we’d try a pasta dish. It was busy but wasn’t too loud and we felt like we had our own space. The staff were friendly and the prices were fair. I’d recommend a reservation.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely experience!! Staff were attentive and nice - clearly passionate about their work. Food came out quick and was delicious. A must go-to in the North End!
Food is average and overpriced. We ordered two most popular pastas and they were lacking any texture while costing $80 in total. Looks like everyone is going there just for talks with waiters.

Food was excellent and our server was attentive, friendly and interactive. All pastas are made in house and are delicious!
First of, reservations are highly recommended; however, don't do it via OpenTable because according to the hostess, it doesn't appear in their system.
We went on a Saturday night, there was a line and it was a bit of a wait. The hostess was wayyy better than the host. She was more informative and helpful. The guy was not helpful whatsoever, like he didn't even suggest for us to see if there was seating in the bar, which is on a first come first serve basis. He also didn't offer to put us down in the waitlist either. He plainly and bluntly states that they were not talking any walk-ins.
We made way to the bar and wait for a spot to open and after 10 minutes we managed to get two seats at the bar. The bartenders were very nice, accommodating and attentive! The food was freaking delishhhhhious! It was perfect portions and we did also order the scampi for appetizers and we received complimentary bread to start.

We were visiting in Boston and friends recommended we try Cantina Italiana. We got a reservation, which was good as they were busy on a Monday night. We arrived on time and were immediately seated. Place feels cozy and old world..we loved it. Service was fast and attentive, good sized portions, and WOW was it good. It's been added to my Must-Visit list on my next trip through Boston. You won't be disappointed.

I typically don't submit reviews on this platform so I'll be brief. The service was outstanding and impeccable. I believe all the wait staff were excellent at their individual tables from what I could see. The food was mediocre. I had spaghetti and meatballs. I have to say the meatballs were rather bland at best with little taste. I was Expecting more for the price. The other members of my party seemed to enjoy their meals, however. It's a very crowded and tight space
Fantastic food and our server was attentive and friendly. One of our favorites in the North End! Our go to place before a Bruins game. Always an awesome experience
There are so many restaurants to choose from along Hannover, and we were not disappointed in the least. Service was timely, energetic, and joyful. Food was very tasty and had a homemade quality. We would readily return to this restaurant.
