The experience was so lovely and absolutely delicious. We had a great server and the kitchen was making crunchwraps so of course two of us got those and they were incredible. They also have vegetarian options so one of our friends was able to get jackfruit enchiladas and they were also delicious. The drinks were tasty too - esp the spicy margaritas 😍 We will definitely be going back! Definitely a gem of a spot

Our waiter last night was rude and brusque. I told him about a dietary aversion, and he had no interest in accommodating it. I’ll never go back and I’ll tell my friends never to go either.

Very quaint comfy bar with a home feel. Good drinks and food! They have The Best Margarita and it literally is!! đŸ‘ŒđŸŸ I also love the fried mushroom tacos and the nachos 😋

Debated writing this for a couple months after our last visit but the experience stuck with me.

My boyfriend and I have been coming here regularly for a while - we would always get a couple apps and two tacos each with drinks. We showed up one day and the menu was different. We were huge fans of the brussel sprouts taco - not that the other tacos on the old menu weren’t good, but this one was a staple for us at every visit and we aren’t even vegetarian. We ordered a couple tacos each (think I did the carnitas and pescado) but even the tortillas weren’t the same - smaller and soggy.

We might back someday to try more of the new menu but it’s not one of our favorite spots anymore. I get wanting to change a stagnant menu but some of those items were truly beloved. Wish you guys the best.

I've only ordered for pick up but I love their tacos. 😋

$70. That’s what two beers, five child-sized tacos, and some corn will cost you at Casa Verde—after waiting 45 minutes with no menu, no service, and no urgency. You’ll spend the first half-hour wondering if it’s a restaurant or an experimental performance piece on neglect.

Then comes the food. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I could pay $7 for a taco the size of a Ritz cracker filled with dry carnitas or deep-fried disappointment,” Casa Verde is your spot. The fish taco? A literal thumb. The fried chicken taco? A sad, ironic ode to the McDonald’s Snack Wrap, if it had been left under a heat lamp since the Obama administration.

And here’s the kicker—they’re smug about it. Like this is what tacos cost in a city where people mistake cilantro for innovation. This place isn’t a taqueria. It’s a trap for transplant yuppies who think “authentic” means you can’t find a napkin and “elevated” means $14 margaritas with no lime.

Casa Verde isn’t just overpriced. It’s a case study in urban gentrification theater: take street food, remove all the soul, double the price, and serve it with indifference.

Avoid. Unless you’re writing a thesis on how to ruin a taco.

THIS USED TO BE MY FAVOURITE PLACE FOR VEGETARIAN TACOS. They changed the entire menu. They no longer have the Brussel sprouts tacos, cauliflower or the tofu tacos. I waited an hour today to be seated to find out all of it had been changed. Jackfruit taco was ok-ish and mushroom was not bad. It was still disappointing to have the others taken off the menu.

Solid spot for food and drink. drink deals are good ( Nitro Margarita Pitcher is a must) and the food has a good amount of flavor and quantity, especially the nachos which they’ve changed to a skillet and I love so much more!

Shrimp taco was also flavorful, lots of citrus and loaded, though $6 isn’t great, I’ve spent more on worse. I’d say come here to get a drink and the nachos, you won’t be disappointed
