Really enjoyed our meals

my Chicken Parmigiana served with housemade casarecce pasta was top notch. Chicken cooked just right and the sauce and past were top notch.
My wife also loved her Veal Saltinboccar served with the casarecce pasta.

looking forward to our next visit!

Food is underwhelming. I'm confused how this place's ratings are so high.

I had THE MOST AMAZING time here on 1/13/26 with the wonderful Mr. Alex and another gent helping us at our table. My partner and I ordered the caprese salad appetizer, which was nothing short of delicious and covered in balsamic. I got the pesto gnocchi, which was SPECTACULAR! I'm posting this late and forgot what my partner ordered but I remember trying it and it was also akin to my Italian vacation in my mouth. We also had some tiramisu for dessert, and this is so far the ONLY place that makes it in a way that doesn't cause my stomach to start flipping out. Service was exceptional, I loved the quaint atmosphere, 11/10 will be coming back on Valentine's day.
NOTE: I also came here for my birthday on 8/5/24 and got the spaghetti alle vongole. You know that feeling where you eat a lot and it makes you feel full but not uncomfortable? Yes. Perfectly executed. Please visit this establishment, they will not disappoint!

Beautiful restaurant and the food was also great. The service was great. Tried the arugula salad. It was great all the starters, including the artichoke dip bruschetta . Everything was great.

went to casarecce for a nice meal, ended up almost being scammed.

the calamari, clams, & shrimp risotto were fantastic. my pappardelle bolognese, i will not lie, reminded me of a childhood memory - chef boyardee. was the pasta fresh? absolutely. did it still taste like chef boyardee? absolutely.
when the bill came, i obviously had no problem paying. what i did have a problem with, however, was being charged an extra $40. in a fine dining restaurant? absolutely heinous & criminal, even. i left $20 on the table. it’s not 20%, but it shows a bit of my dissatisfaction. i understand that many servers rely on tips. i’ve been a server/bartender for years now, & the blonde woman i was with is a service manager, being promoted to assistant general manager, at the red robin in portland maine, a locally known family friendly restaurant. we both know how a restaurant functions, or at least how it’s supposed to function. this was just a sad experience, and we only get to enjoy boston for the evening.
the only highlight was a young man with his hair pulled up who was very pleasant & wished us a good evening. that was it.
i expect to hear back from the owner regarding this review. however, if i receive a completely ignorant & dismissive response from them, as i’ve seen him reply to other lower rated reviews with a passive aggressive attitude, i will happily visit casarecce again so the owner(s) and i can have a civilized conversation regarding this overall experience!
thank you & warm regards!

NYE and we had a show at the garden . Was excited to try this place. My girlfriend pasta was not cooked all way through but she doesn't like to send food back...My pasta was fine until I got until the end and I had the same experience. I will attribute this to the fact they were rushing people in and out due to it being NYE but will all the options around ..I was disappointed

Been to a few places in the north end and this is my favorite so far! I highly recommend it. Great food. We loved the Alfredo and chicken parm. The staff was super friendly. This place is tiny but wonderful!

The pasta was very fresh we were able to sit 15 minutes before our reservations which was appreciated. Like most places in the north end the room was packed very tight- tables extremely close together. I think the team did their best to accommodate on a busy night. The Cesar salad did not taste fresh the lettuce slightly wilted and not a fan of the dressing.

Booked for 8:00pm but were made to stand outside until 8:23. The food, when it arrived, was very nice. However, at 8:50 the lights were turned on and we were pressured to leave, being told they close at 9:00pm. We had to leave drinks unfinished. We raised this with a member of staff before leaving but received no apology and were ushered out. Very disappointing experience — do better.

As always,Casarecce doesn't disappoint. We went before a Bruin's game, and even as quick dinner was fantastic. We had the eggplant appetizer and the Fruiti de Mare. Delicious!

Pretty good food and service, avoid the tiramisu though it was pretty bad in my personal opinion.
