The cutest little italian restaurant in the North End! My boyfriend and I walked past this spot and commented on how cute it was, flowers in the window, a cute cozy romantic vibe, but we had a reservation elsewhere. Well the restaurant we had reserved sounded like a nightclub so we turned around and raced back here… and I’m so glad we did! Food, service, and vibe were all 10/10. Thank you!
We stopped in this tiny restaurant for a delicious Italian meal, and we were not disappointed. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the fact that each component was made from scratch. The meatballs were tender and flavorful. My daughter had the carbonara, which was out of this world, and I had the bolognese, also amazing.
Great Italian food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. If you're looking for a good place in North End, this is the one!
Very good food and service. When they serve bread and oil before your meal that’s always a good sign. Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare was phenomenal, giving me a bite of seafood with every bite of the delicious pasta.
Tiny restaurant with very good food. Had the shrimp davolo! They initially served me the wrong dish, but quickly corrected it.
Awesome lunch spot, great pasta, I recommend the sausage and broccoli casarecce.
Decided to stop at Casarecce Ristorante given the good ratings in Google.
I was there for dinner and ordered a Caprese Salad and a Pasta Carbonara.
The Capresse salad was very unpleasant. The tomatoes were not fresh and of poor quality. I had to add some salt to give it some flavor. Looking back I think I should have returned the dish but in the moment I just needed to eat.
The Pasta Carbonara was better given the salad experience but still nothing that I would call exceptional. The sauce was too dry and a bit lacking in flavor.
The service staff was very kind and attentive.
The venue is a bit tight and you need to be comfortable sitting close to other patrons but it is clean and functional.
Went there with my boyfriend, we just wanted to have an appetizer and some drinks. After our drinks were brought out, my boyfriend tried to order an appetizer, but the staff told us we had to order entrées or leave. No one mentioned this rule when we walked in, and it wasn’t written anywhere on the menu.
We asked if we could at least finish our drinks before leaving. The waiter said that was fine and told us the table would be available for another 30 minutes. But about 15 minutes later, he came back and said, “We need the table right now.”
I said no problem and asked if there was somewhere else I could go to finish my drink. He replied, “Yes, in the back.” I assumed he meant there was another seating area, but, to my surprise, there was nothing back there. Apparently, he expected me to stand and finish my drink, which is absurd for a restaurant😂 Thus, only 1 star for the customer service😊
Terrible service. Pushed us to leave while we were still eating and drinking.
By far the best, authentic Italian food in the North End. We have dined at several restaurants but the service, ambience and food is the best! They make their own pasta and sauces daily. I cannot recommend Casarecce enough. Delicioso.

Caprese salad was okay, my daughter loved the spaghetti. I also had the chicken Parmesan spring rolls which were also interesting. We sat by the window and watched the people go by as the waiters watched us as they have no place else to stand. With my daughter’s spaghetti, the caprese salad, chicken parm spring rolls and a bottle of San pellegrino the price was $63, probably wouldn’t be back.
Food here is delicious. Servers are very friendly
I would have given a 5 stars rating if place was more spacious. I had the lassagna.
It was very tight when sitting to eat the food. The place is very cozy and fast food after ordering.
Great food with fast and attentive service. Thanks for a lovely dinner 😊
Cute little Italian restaurant with fresh pasta, good wine and fast service. Definitely recommend.
Everything we got was very delicious (chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, vodka chicken, lobster ravioli). Family friendly but still fairly quiet. Service and food was very timely. I just got back from Italy and I can say this place was very authentic while still being American-friendly. Would definitely eat here again.
