An iconic sports bar in the historic Fenway District
This place is not what it seems…
Sure, you’re at a concert near Fenway park. You say to you yourself hey, let’s go get a beer after the show. You walk in. You order a Guinness. It’s Boston, they know how to pour a proper pint. BUT NO. this man behind the bar assaulted my eyes and tastebuds. He poured what I would describe as one of the worst Guinness pours I have ever witnessed. This is not a college teeny-bopper bar. Real men come here to get real beer. If this is how you treat your customers, count me out. Waited 10 minutes at the bar to even get served.
1/10 never again.

Went here to watch a Red Sox away game and had a great time! Excellent service, good drinks, fun atmosphere that wasn’t too crowded

- Food was pretty average, but the service and atmosphere were great and what you would want out of a large sports bar. The place was much bigger than I realized

A bit hectic on game day but well organized nonetheless. Our server Jeremy was friendly and professional, but ultimately the kitchen failed miserably. Our boneless chicken wings were literally cold (not room temp but downright cold!) and the french fries lukewarm. That said, had our food been warm, we would have enjoyed it since everything had the potential of being pretty good.

We had a bit of a wait and had someone in our party go check other restaurants because we were starving and had a show to get to… Juan Garcia completely changed our whole attitudes with how accommodating, and outstanding he was. His service was by far the best service we have had in any establishment. Very professional, very personable, and has an amazing attitude that not only makes him a great addition to this restaurant but overall what the world could use more of. We even came back after the show!

I was so sick after eating the blackened chicken and pasta. I think it was leftover. The cream sauce was too oily.

One of the most garbage bartenders I’ve ever encountered. Spend your money on overpriced drinks anywhere else in the city.

Hostess sat us in the very back of the place, past several 4 top tables along the way, and when we told her we just wanted a few beers and no food, she just stared at us like we were stupid and grabbed plates and walked off.
Then waited 10 minutes and finally asked another hostess where our server was. A few minutes later one finally showed up.

Great food and wonderful staff. They were really busy, but staff was fabulous and the food was really good. Got the loaded tators and bacon hamburger-really good. Staff worked together to help each other out. Was a pleasant experience.

Good, but the deciding factor for me is that it is WAAAAAY too noisy in this place!! I don't see the need to BLAST music in a sports bar, to the point where you are struggling to hear the person right next to you!!

We stopped in here after doing the Fenway Park tour, and it’s definitely a spot built for a party/game-day atmosphere. Since there wasn’t a game on when we visited, things were quieter, which gave us a chance to take it in at a more relaxed pace.
Drinks: The mojito was excellent – really fresh and well-balanced. The Guinness was just what you’d expect, poured right and no complaints.
Food: We both went with salads. I had one with avocado and bacon, and my fiancé had one with chicken. The ingredients were fresh, but the flavor was a little watered down – still enjoyable, just not as bold as we were hoping for.
Service & Atmosphere: The staff was friendly, but service was on the slower side, especially considering the place wasn’t packed. A little more attentiveness would’ve gone a long way. That said, the vibe is cool, and you can tell this place must be electric on game days.
Overall: Not a bad experience at all – solid drinks, decent food, and a great location if you’re coming from Fenway. I’d say it’s worth checking out if you want to grab a drink or a bite near the ballpark, especially when there’s a game or event going on.
