Look, the place was a mad house. The Uconn football team was playing the United States Army at Fenway Park for a bowl game. I've been to at least 20 Red Sox games in the last few years. But today was special, the place was packed, I had to wait an hour for a table. We found a corner and had a couple of drinks. Once they texted me, everything went like chock work. The food was great and definitely HOT!!!!! Thank you for a beautiful meal in Boston.

Great place for booze and vittles before a game or concert. Awesome atmosphere. Service can get a bit slow if it's really busy.

I have to start by saying that Red Sox season was off when I went. Food was very good, atmosphere is great as a sports bar with more than 30 TV's and service was a bit slow but good.

As an Asian-American male I had a stellar experience. Bouncers were incredible and kept us all safe, no line, overall fun times!

EXCELLENT BBQ Brisket, baked beans, mac 'n cheese sides all house pitmaster made. DELICIOUS!! Wedge salad. Draft Samuel Adams and Blue Moon. Waiter staff friendly excellent 4 stars only because it was busy...he had to really hustle! We'd repeat going here for sure! (Right near Fenway Stadium Gate D) Enjoy!😋😋😍😋

Had a completely amazing evening watching the World Series here! The food was mediocre, but the beer was good. The service was okay, and the atmosphere was off the charts. Incredible!

Unprofessional and discriminatory treatment

I went to Cask n Flagon for the Halloween bar crawl and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a bar. I understand it was a crowded night and the staff had a lot to handle, but the bouncers’ behavior was completely unacceptable.

When I first reached the front to check in and get my wristband, someone handed me an empty can and I asked where I could throw it away. I can understand how they might have assumed I was drunk since I was holding an empty can, but I wasn’t. I was calm, respectful, and just trying to do the right thing. Instead of answering, the bouncers started swearing at me, said I was “too drunk,” and denied me entry.

I went back and waited another 45 minutes in line with my friends. The second time, a friend lent me a hat and I got in smoothly without any issue. A few minutes later, the same bouncers somehow followed me into the bathroom and kicked me out again. I still have no idea why, especially since they had said it would be fine if I waited and came back.

During this, one of the African American bouncers muttered a racial slur under his breath, a derogatory word directed at Asians, specifically Chinese if you know. That was the moment I realized this was a lost cause and purely a power trip + discrimination.

I get that busy nights can be stressful, but that does not justify aggression or racist behavior toward paying customers. The whole situation completely ruined the night. I really hope they refund me, but honestly, I don’t expect it from this kind of establishment. I strongly recommend avoiding this place if you expect to be treated with basic respect.

My girlfriend and I took the kids to a concert on Sunday and we decided to eat at Cask n Flagn , the Fenway location . The kids were miserable when we arrived because of all the train delays, especially my daughter who is on the spectrum. Our server Nicole had just the trick for that and made her a very decorative strawberry lemonade and helped her decide what to eat, she's extremely difficult when she gets to that point but Nicole didn't sweat or get impatient like other people have when we go out. I was a server so I do understand the time crunch sometimes but this time was so different . She seemed to have a couple other big tables. However, she still took the time to cheer my daughter up and it made all the difference in the rest of our night. The food was delicious . The only issue was, two pieces of my steak were a little rare. Nicole took them back to the kitchen and had them cooked up and brought them right back. She also recommended my friend a coconut margarita which she said was delicious. I stuck with wine. Not a huge selection but it is just a sports bar. We were happy, the kids were happy, and Cask n Flagn is a go to if you need a quick bite when in the Fenway area! I usually don't do reviews but I felt like she deserved to be mentioned because if things hadn't gone the way they did and my daughter didn't snap out of it our night wouldn't have been what it was! Thanks Nicole, we'll be back!

My friend got her bottles of nips confiscated from her purse before entry. No other bar around checks bags so we didn’t think anything of it. Once they took them they let us in no problem and there we proceeded to get drinks and an app (a waste mind you $14 drinks go to bleachers you can get the same drink for $9!!) 5 hours later we try to come back inside to wait for our uber and told we got kicked out earlier so we couldn’t come in? To clarify again we never got kicked out or had any problems with staff when we were inside. Clearly money hungry and waited for us to buy food and drinks rather than tell us when we first got there we couldn’t go in? Should’ve avoided this place to start had heard from others that management and security suck and clearly this place is a money grab. Highly recommend game on, bleachers or really anywhere else! Still had a fun day it’s just a shame to see how some places are run.
