St. Aloysius Detroit we pray that God forgive you for harassing me. I forgive you. I was out with my faith group and the cashier thought I wasn't with them; I wanted a smoothie, but I didn't know you didn't sell smoothies. The cashier called the police as I was sitting down next to my faith group. Two pairs of officers appeared; one ignored the situation, while the other asked me to stand, bring my belongings, and provide my name, birthday, and phone number. The officer informed me that the lady at the cash register wanted me to leave. I explained that I was with my faith group, and the officers asked if I wanted them to inform her; I agreed. As I was speaking with the other officer, I turned around and saw my faith group conversing with the other officer, and they told me I could sit back down. I went to pray and then returned to speak with the manager after we had left due to the incident. I was the only black individual in the group. The manager attempted to downplay the situation, suggesting that the police arrived on their own.

I came here during a busy lunchtime period. Hence, it was a very busy atmosphere, and a somewhat stressful experience ordering when the staff is clearly overworked trying to manage the flow of customers going through. They had a good queue system set up, and service was quick, but it was quite a rushed process.
The food itself was delicious, and a really good mix of ingredients. However, there wasn’t very much of it at all, and for almost $20 I felt this was quite poor value for money. What a shame, because the salad tasted great.

I had a great experience at Cava restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the ordering process smooth and welcoming. The restaurant itself was very clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the visit.
What really stood out was the quality of the food every ingredient tasted fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell they prioritize using high-quality, fresh produce and proteins. Whether you're building your own bowl or picking from the menu, there's something for everyone, and it all feels healthy and satisfying.

This is the only CAVA location I go to. Martinho and his team are always very friendly, and the food tastes great. I’m usually not a fan of CAVA, but this location is different, not just because of the food, but because of the outstanding service from Martinho and his team.

I need to give a big shoutout to the manager at this location, Martinho. Amazing guy! He makes it feel like a locally owned shop instead of a big chain. Also, the ingredients at this location tasted fresher and better than any other Cava in town. Cava is lucky to have someone like Martinho at the helm. His good energy and kindness makes a big difference in the experience.
