Very unprofessional staff, rude. Every time I order online it takes 1:30 minutes for the food to be ready. And this us the 3rd time they make the wrong order.

Fancy nightclub is an accurate representation, wouldn't go back but food was OK

Burnt steak only 4 tiny pieces for $26 not worth it for a plate full of French fries. And the wait was an HOUR FOR THIS TERRIBLE FOOD!

The flavors were layered and complex.

Had called and made reservations, for 8pm on a Saturday. Easy enough. Called again, to ask what time the kitchen closes. When I arrived, was told there’s a event that’s going on and I’d have to pay extra for a ticket, for the event on top of what whatever we pay for dinner.

My biggest issue with this is I called twice through the day, spoke to the same person and was never even informed of a event. The guy upfront wasn’t that helpful either so I ended up just walking out and going somewhere else. Just seems very disorganized.

It's like a fancy nightclub . Food is good but not stupendous or anything. It's like good enough I don't mean to down rate it

This restaurant is an absolute gem in Dorchester. My friends and I came for dinner on a Thursday evening and were able to not only eat a delicious meal but also enjoy a jam session with live music. The staff were extremely friendly - as this was our first time eating Cape Verdean cuisine they guided us through the menu and gave us some recommendations. They were also accommodating of our request for non-alcoholic drinks and were able to make any of their margaritas or caperinhas without liquor. The frango churrasco was succulent and well seasoned. The camarao Mocambique was delicious too. But the show stopper was the goat cabritada - tender meat, extremely flavorful, and generous portions. I will absolutely come back soon!
