I was worried that this might just be a tourist trap but it was quite good. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We felt like we could have really been in an episode of Cheers. I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the neighborhood.

Overrated experience.We stopped in while in town for the marathon. Take note, the bar is downstairs, so there are steps (for anyone that this pertains to).First, the server, she wasn’t rude but also not friendly, just kind of there. I asked a few questions about the menu. I ended up with a house margarita (early in the day and didn’t want a beer). Beers are only 20oz and no other sizes are offered.We did not order any food due to the cost of it.Stop on for the nostalgia of it, but that’s about it.

Great to experience first hand the bar that provided so many moments of comic genius for so long.Packed with memorabilia, smaller than you expect it to be, quite crowded with seats at a premium.Nonetheless a must visit location for a beer in Boston, even if everyone may not know your name.

I went for the atmosphere and nostalgia. The food was not great. I was disappointed with that. The vibes are great though! Order the mug at the table, it's cheaper than the gift shop.
