This place is exactly what we were looking for. Hole on the wall has 1 table and 2 bar like on the wall with stools, so if you’re planning on sitting down don’t expect room and comfort, but the food will knock your socks off. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. Everything on the menu from the quesabirria packed with tons of meat to the dessert selection of flan and tres leches more than exceeded our expectations. I just wanted to stay and live in this place. Amazing food I left full and happy. 10/10 will eat here again. I’m sorry I didn’t take a photo of my beautiful plate because when I came to realize I had ate it all.

The nachos tasted delicious, but I was disappointed with the portion. When I opened mine, it looked very different from the one my husband usually orders. My friend tried mine, she liked it, and ordered the same dish about 10 minutes later. When she received hers, it was filled all the way to the top, while mine was only about one-third full in comparison

not the first time , I order a burrito and it has none of the ingredients that I requested and pay extra for. I asked for a grilled chicken burrito. They gave me a plain burrito and weeks later. I’m still waiting for a refund.

My daughter took me to her favorite Mexican restaurant in Boston. This place is very small, however the food was very good. I would give it an 8.7 back home in Houston. For Boston it scores a 9.4. This place maybe has 10 or 12 seats inside. I had 2 beef and 1 cheese enchiladas plate. The beef was well seasoned and the cheese had a smokey taste. So good.

I went to this restaurant to try the food, but I don’t recommend it. I ordered the crunchy tacos the tortilla was burnt, and the chicken was bland, tasted old, and was so bad I couldn’t even swallow it. I spent $27, which was way overpriced for the quality. Overall, the food was disappointing and not worth the visit.

Great food, staff and music. Outside tables are great, wish that option was available year round.

Just a good, cheap Mexican place. Nothing too special. They just do simple Mexican food well.

Decent food. Rice beans toppings platter with carne asada (my daughter’s) or lengua (mine) and some warm tortillas. The carne asada was flavourful. The lengua was kind of bland, could have been juicier. Tasty on the whole. Would go back given the good price. (Around $15). More salsa in the takeaway would be good.
The vibe was friendly neighbourhood. You could tell lots of regulars. Friends brought their kids who were playing on the corner (quietly).
Would return.
