the chicken WAS INSANE. the pasta was pretty undercooked but the chicken and cheese and sauce made up for it. the dish was steaming and the texture of the cutlet was so interesting , like not rubbery but bOuncy??? also the meat wasn’t dry at all but quite tender, and it was laying under warm, copious layer of milky cheesy melted mozzarella that was super stringy and delicious. there was also a generous amount creamy , light vodka sauce soaking everything, making it a bit soggy...
I went to Ciao Roma with my siblings during the evening. We didn’t make reservations but upon arriving the host made it seem like it was not doable, as I grabbed my phone to search another restaurant she than decided to sit as, as she apparently found one after i mentioned I was leaving. Nestled on a side street in the North End, Ciao Roma offers your classic Italian-American options in a beautifully decorated restaurant. While the food was good, the ambiance is beautiful, and the service was excellent, I’d argue that the prices of each plate are a little steep for the overall quality of the dining experience.
