Beautifully designed restaurant!! I was visiting the bank and thought let me stop in. I always wanted to, but because of parking I would keep going. I am so glad I stopped !! The woman in the front was extremely nice and helpful . I normally hate to ask what is your favorite cause they’ll tell you anything right? Well, she told me her favorite was the chicken , let me tell you tender and falling off the bone lots of gravy & flavor, dirty, rice, and peas and mixed vegetable. Everything was so moist full of flavor the veggies had a nice little crunch to it. Completely satisfied.💕
I saw a Tiktok about Merengue Express and couldn't let it pass without trying it out. And let me tell you, I am glad that I did because the food was AMAZING! I ordered the spanish rice of the day which was Congri (black rice with black beans), Oxtails and Maduro (sweet plantain). The portion for my Merengue bowl was HUGE and for a reasonable price! I even shared with my coworker because I knew I wasn't going to finish it alone. I did a delivery with UberEats and one thing that sucks was that they didn't have Oxtails as a protein choice for their Merengue bowls but I did leave a message asking if they could replace the beef steak with oxtails and they did!!! I will definitely be ordering from Merengue Express again. Thank you! :)
