Excellent choice for breakfast/brunch. We went on a Sunday afternoon and had a lovely meal, great service, and very nice location inside the Lennox. Jorge was our sever and he did an exceptional job. All around great meal, and great experience.

Came down for breakfast service as I was staying at the Lenox hotel right above. Got the classic eggs Benedict dish which was... nothing like “classic eggs Benedict” to say the least. Quite unfortunately. The eggs were nearly hard boiled and way too vinegary. The so to speak “hollandaise” on top of them was screaming ultra processed ready to use glowing in the dark kind of sauce. The supposedly English muffin was so hard I could not even cut through it with the knife. My bottomline - never again.

The food and service is always great . The wine selection is excellent. The bartenders are masters at their craft. We go to City Table time and time again because it's OUR NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANT!

Average but Very Expensive Hotel Food. I would go as a Last Resort. Plenty of Great Restaurants 5 minutes away on Boylston and Newbury

We went to City Table at the Lenox Hotel to celebrate our anniversary. We had such a delightful time with great food and drink, great service from Mario! He even treated us to special appetizers and dessert! The food was delicious! Cannot wait to go back!!

Came for breakfast. The eggs tasted like fresh farm eggs. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, firm, browned and delicious.
The service was impeccable. The waiter anticipated our every need. It was a pleasure to dine here. What a well run establishment.

The service level was exceptional. My meal did not turn out well and the server was gracious and the manager checked in with me about any other substitutions. They did not charge me for it which I truly appreciate. My glass of wine was wonderful and the ambiance was nice especially in the bar area.

City Table was excellent. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was perfect for my date and I. Not too loud so we could have a conversation. Server was very attentive as well. I would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to anyone.

During a non-busy brunch time, our server was not very attentive. We had to get up and ask someone for a coffee refill and again to pay our tab. Food was great but feel that $10 for a simple cup of coffee is overpriced.

Overall not a great experience. Wait staff didn't really pay attention to the basics, ex. Cappuccino no spoon. Had to ask for silverware after entree came out etc. and food was mediocre at best yet cost way more than it should have. Price to value was just way off here. Sorry for the negative review which I don't usually give but, hopefully someone's paying attention and can smooth out these rough edges.

I had the beet tartare salad for a starter it was fresh yet rich. The Shirley temple was deluxe yet elegant. The steak frites were sophisticated yet they were a little rubbery, so if I were you get them more cooked then you would like them. Overall this meal was very special for my family.

Our dinner was superb - we both had the Sesame Pan-seared tuna and it was cooked perfectly! Our server was attentive but not intrusive and the atmoshere was relaxed and comfortable. We'll definitly dine here again!

Unfortunately, the flatbread tasted like a frozen pizza. I would not recommend it. The city steak was more like rib meat off the bone, but asparagus was good. Salmon was good per my son but not the best he has had. Food was below average for the cost.

We had the brie burger with a fried egg on top. We switched the cheese to chedder with no problem. The bloody mary was delicious and so was the Irish coffee. We asked for medium and burger came out just perfect. I would have liked the egg to be runny but we did not ask for sunny side up so that is our fault. We have been to City Table 5 times now since we moved to Boston in 2022. We usually have always gone for brunch and never have we been disappointed. Service was great as usual.
