I’m a gay man. I was enjoying the bar. Dancing and talking to friends. When it was time to leave there were about 6 women dancing so aggressively that I had to touch their shoulders so that they wouldn’t wack me when I went by. One of them said, why are you touching me. I said, I’m sorry. I was just trying to get by. And another woman came and punched me on the side of my head and ran away into the crowd. Security came but couldn’t find her. It’s not safe there. They are trying but the culture has shifted.
I have been a loyal patron of Club Café for the past three years, consistently enjoying the welcoming atmosphere and never encountering any issues. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I experienced extremely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from one of your security staff members. A short security guard with visible tattoos and an ear gauge walked behind me, pushed me without reason, and acted in a very rude manner. When I asked him to excuse himself, he instead confronted me aggressively and asked if I “had a problem,” escalating the situation unnecessarily. This type of conduct is not only disrespectful but also creates a hostile and unsafe environment for customers. I was shocked and disappointed by this behavior, especially given my history of positive experiences at Club Café. Due to this incident, I no longer feel comfortable returning, which is very unfortunate considering my years of loyalty to your establishment. I strongly urge management to address this matter seriously and take the appropriate steps to ensure that no other customer is treated this way in the future.
