A great spot to grab a bite to eat! We only sampled the chowder, one of the main Boston staples. After a little bit of research, this came up as a must-try location (according to Drew Barrymore), and she was not wrong. I would highly recommend stopping here if you're in the Seaport District.

This is a great little place to get a wonderful Lobster Roll and other Sea Food. It is small but some good food. Quite busy with take out and sit down customers.

Very good. Among the best.

We were recommended this venue flr the famous Boston Lobster Roll by hotel concierge . I wouldn’t rave. Two lobster rolls, two soft drinks and starter just under $100

This was a very busy location, but well worth the wait. The people in the restaurant did a good job of taking care of their customers.

This place was the perfect dining spot for our first night in Boston. I split a lobster roll and shrimp tacos with my son—both were delicious but the SHRIMP TACOS will bring me back here when I return. If you are staying in the Seaport area, eat here!. They also offer many other food options along with some local beers on tap and in bottles.

Fantastic lobster roll, tons of meat, delicious. Very very expensive. Eat outside if you can; inside smelled so bad (like urinal pucks and sewage).

Great traditional lobster rolls & clam strips! The crab cake sandwich was ok. Nice service and a fun setting. We liked it so much we went twice during our short stay in Boston.

Absolutely amazing seafood! It was exactly what we are looking for. So close to our hotel in the seaport district, we easily walked there. Looks like a dive, which attracted us in the first place. We both had the shrimp and calamari rice bowl and it was delicious. The squid was perfectly cooked and very tender. It was a slightly spicy dish, perfectly seasoned.

First time at Yankee Lobster and the last. The food was good but very expensive. We had lobster rolls and while of course lobster is an expensive ingredient (and admittedly there was a lot of it in the roll), a restaurant that sells their rolls at $36 excluding tax and tip ($46 all in all) should at least have proper cutlery, glasses and plates and please not just throw a handful of ketchup packages on the table. Tourist trap.

Went because of excellent reviews online, and waited outside for a while (20 min) to even see a hostess. When we got inside, it is tiny and really an average if best atmosphere. I’d say crowded is more like it. Tables outside in front were in the blazing summer sun with no umbrella and tables in the covered outdoor area were incredibly hot. Not a good seat in the house and food was just average. It was ok but we wouldn’t recommend or go back when there are so many great places to eat in Boston.

Exactly what I was looking for in Boston/New England. Wharfside seafood with the perfect mix of maritime, lunch-ish, order at the register feel. Food was very good, portions outstanding. I had lobster roll and my wife had blackened salmon she could not finish. Only regret was not having a beer, as I was driving in downtown Boston afterwards. Highly recommend.

The best lobster roll I have ever had. Phenomenal fried clams. Absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly, even though it was crowded.

The most amazing Lobster roll - huge chunks of lobster that you had to start eating before even attempting to lift the roll! Really nice staff, a totally unpretentious environment, great location and fantastic food.

Well hidden in the city, but everyone seems to know it's there! This quint seafood restaurant has made its' mark and is definitely a local hangout. We were staying over in the city and wanted a place to eat, so asked a local walking down the street and he recommended Yankee Lobster. It's small, busy, and satisfying. The menu covered every taste and everything was prepared, delivered quickly and hot. Delicious is the word to describe it, and the seafood stew was just that. We also had the vegetarian rice bowl, which was more than we could eat. You will not go away hungry and you will have a huge choice of seafood entrees. It's not a fancy place, so don't dress up, you'll sit among a crowd of locals, so enjoy the atmosphere, and you'll you will be impressed by the owner and staff as they help you decide, serve your table and aim to please. They get a grade of A+ and my high recommendation. A visit and meal will not disappoint you.
