Absolutely stellar experience at Contessa thanks to the manager and Jose his mixology skills are top notch every cocktail was perfectly balanced, creative. He’s got this knack for making you feel like a VIP, with a warm vibe and spot-on recommendations. Whether you’re a cocktail newbie or a connoisseur, he elevates the night. The bar’s lucky to have such a talented, charismatic pro! 5 stars, hands down.
Stayed at the Newbury hotel and went to Contessa for Saturday morning breakfast. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were told on the weekends they only serve their brunch menu. We were a little disappointed, but our server Juan made the experience way better than we expected. The food looked pretty and appetizing, but tasted bland. However, the overall experience was delightful due to Juan.
Visited earlier this week to celebrate a birthday. And I can truly say this restaurant deserves a five star rating on each category. The staff was polite and attentive, and spaced out the courses perfectly. The atmosphere is beautiful, set in an art deco rooftop setting in Boston. The food was phenomenal ( we went for brunch specifically). Would absolutely dine here again for brunch and would love to try their dinner.
