I frequent this place and another similar fusion restaurant nearby and I will say that this is definitely the more consistent of the two, albeit a bit pricier. Most of their menu items are quite delicious and the rice entrees also come with a side of miso soup, but I find some of the more Korean entrees very heavy in plain veggies and lacking in salt, which makes them a bit more bland than I'm used to from other places. I really enjoy the Coreanos Bowl and their quesadillas, and would recommend them if you are looking to give this place a try.

The space is small, so seating is a hit or miss. But the food is always a hit. They always give you a little cup of miso with every order and the overall vibe is so warm and cozy! Bring cash for a little discount.

I really enjoyed my food and the staff was so sweet! I’ll definitely be back again to try more from the menu. Would’ve given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the 30 minute time limit that customers are subjected to. I understand that’s because the establishment is small they want to free up space for others, but what if it’s a slow day and no one is dining in? Does the rule still apply? Additionally, I don’t think 30 minutes is enough time to sit, relax, and take your time enjoying your meal especially if you’re dining with others. Just don’t like feeling worried about a time limit while I eat.Vegetarian options: Tofu taco and vegetarian bowl options

So glad we found this place!! Love the kimchi fritas with bulgogi beef, reminds us of our favorite place in Houston. The tteokbokki was standard goodness (a biiiit spicy and no fishcakes) but the tempura-ish seaweed on top was SOOO good. And the chicken taco was delicious!! The owner was very nice and doesn't speak a lot of English.

After trying a bunch of fusion places, I was curious how a Korean Mexican place would be. The answer? Awesome.I opted for some tacos since I was going around Boston snacking all day. I got 3 tacos. The beef bulgogi, spicy pork, and Kalbi short rib. Each unique in flavor but each delicious. The Bulgogi was super juicy and tender. The spicy pork had good flavor, and the ground pork texture was good. It wasn't really spicy though. The kalbi short rib was the best. A robust sweet and smoky flavor.I would come back for the short rib alone, but I'd really love to come try the kimchi.Parking: Parking in the area is tight.

Coreanos is a small Korean, Mexican fusion spot in Allston that packs a delicious menu. There is very little seating, so expect to take things to-go. Parking can also be difficult in this area. I recommend going on a Sunday for the free meters. My go-to dish is always the Coreanos bowl. The portion size is good, though I don’t know how much prices have increased since the last time I’ve been a few years ago. The bowl comes with a ton of sauce and protein. I prefer my egg yolk runny, but sometimes the egg will be overcooked. I’ve also tried the chicken poppers with fries and the tacos before. The chicken poppers were good; the other two were average.

Unpretentious, delicious, friendly, affordable, and the interior is simple but very pleasant, with nice dark natural wood high top tables.Had Coreanos Bowl with Bulgogi beef. Delicious!!They also have nice hot teas which are not the common English Breakfasts and and Earl Grays.
