Go for the drinks, and go for the food at your own risk. Wasn’t expecting anything on the Michelin rating when it came to food, as i know what type of place it is and generally love myself a good dive bar, but was pretty disappointed when the chowder came out lukewarm, like it had been nuked right out of the freezer.
If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. This hidden gem has been one of my all time favorite bars in Boston. The owners and staff welcomed anyone and everyone with open arms, making this place feel like home. They also put fin decorations up during events and holidays.
