The bread (mini baguette) with pepper corn butter was great. My favorite dish was the tuna tartare with avocado. The French fries were great too. The Moroccan chicken was well cooked but veggies were a bit burnt. The fish was well cooked but the portion was small while there was a ton of lentils. Our waitress was very nice. Not a great value / price ratio so I would not recommend it.

Bummer!! What happened, Four Seasons Boston??

Food was excellent. Service was a miss. Totally.

Server rhythm was off and he was clearly and consistently inattentive. Two timing examples: (1) empty restaurant, he didn’t get our beverages to us until the meal was 25% complete (2) asked if ā€œeverything is ok with mealā€ after we finished. Failed to check in if we needed additional condiments as example, if meat was cooked properly, or to refill
Empty glasses and

Service was not refined. Bread plate cleared before bread was eaten, without asking. Utensils cleared after appetizer, and not replaced. Dinner was served, and the runner literally ran away, leaving us without utensils to dine.

Server lacked interest in a human connection.

I understand there are real and bigger problems in the world, I also recognize that Four Seasons brand is a promise and they missed. I always consider my experiences at Four Seasons around the world to be memorable. In large part, it is the team that makes it great.

No need to return.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at I read the reviews before I stayed here too. They must have there employees writing them . So I booked through Priceline .. but somehow at check in was charged again plus 300$ for incidentals. When I confronted the staff (dude with the two lazy eyes if you have stayed there before) he basically told me he don’t see anything wrong even though I pulled up bank statement of the hotel and Priceline he was rude and uncaring. The room is great if you like taking a shower with a shower door that don’t close all the way , that way you can get outta the shower directly into your very own pool that take 47 towels to dry, oh and the breakfast …it’s great … if your 6 yrs old it’s cereal and apple juice .. also be ready to add into your budget 65$ a day for parking or park 10 min away …

Drinks came out way after our app and server was a bit rude, disinterested. Was going to order more but the service was just so lacking, we skipped it.

I brought my parents to Coterie for their 53rd wedding anniversary. Having had the privilege of eating at many Four Season's restaurants throughout the world including Sydney, Bora Bora, Hawaii and others, I couldn't wait to offer my parents the chance to experience the impeccable service and wonderful dining experience that Four Seasons has to offer. Instead, at Coterie, both the service and the food were sub par. The prices were outrageous for what was offered (and we were certainly prepared to pay Four Seasons prices) and the whole night was a cluster. We chose Coterie for its proximity to the Emerson theatre so they could casually walk there after dinner. The service and meal were so disorganized, they had to run out after they finished eating before dessert and just made it to the play. (we allowed 2 hours for dinner and they were still quite rushed).
We had 3 vegetarians in our party. When we looked at Coterie's website, we saw a couple of nice options for Vegetarian meals, however upon arriving, we learned that the online menu was incorrect. After being handed our menus, we realized amongst ourselves, we all had a different menu. It turned out that each of our menus was wrong. The waiter had a difficult time finding 4 current menus to give us. The current menu did not offer anything for vegetarians besides the lab created vegan meat. I ended up ordering a bowl of pasta with red sauce for over $40. It was essentially a kids pasta dish. My parents Martinis were also made poorly.
I had wanted to treat my parents to a special dining experience and instead it was rushed, disorganized and over priced for what the food actually was.
I never take the time to write a bad review. I typically only leave 5 star reviews as I appreciate how hard it is to run a restaurant. However, in this case, I feel like Four Seasons Boston could do better. I hope they make some changes to this restaurant.

We came for dinner. Beautiful spot and really delicious food. Service was terrible though, it took over half an hour to get a drink and then throughout the night our server kept forgetting things or saying they'll come back with water and never returning. The food itself was all delicious, the star for us was the crab cake appetizer. One of our mains, the lobster bucatini was a bit of a let down as the pasta was overcooked.

Thank you so much for the stay, I had a great time at your restaurant. I visited for lunch for the lobster roll! It matched and exceeded my expectations heavily. I definitely recommend this restaurant to any tourist that would like to taste lobsters at Boston.

I came in Tuesday morning at 11:30 AM for a few drinks.
It was early, so it was quiet with soft music playing in the background
The staff were very nice and very accommodating.
Decor was very nice.
The drinks were delicious. Pictured drinks are the Hemingway daiquiri, the Berry Me mocktail and the Cosmo.
Also pictured are complementary truffle chips.
I had a great time and will be back next time I visit Boston!

Very overrated and over priced. I had a lobster omelet. It was awful. Don't waste your money.

Gorgeous interior, exemplary staff, and phenomenal cocktails. Went in for a drink after work with my wife and it was perfect. The price
is reflective of the quality.

The food is not up to Four Seasons standards. I ordered a lobster roll which was cold and meant to be warm, and my mom ordered the Dover Sole which was very overcooked. Her potatos were also cold. We both had caesar salads that would have been acceptable at Panera, but not here.
