Where do I start? I followed a man who just got off his bicycle and boy was he dreamy. He inspired me to order an iced coffee and have a yummy blueberry muffin. Now here is where It gets really fun. He's a lawyer, I needed one too. But the service was so out standing especially from Bridget. The place was spotless and cool and it was hot. 5 stars isn't enough and when I come back from my trip to Mars I will defiantly return. As my friends back home say xe8873 )/$. Which means eat it and love it.

I'm a frequent customer of Cranberry Cafe because I love the sandwiches, the friendly service and the comfortable, unpretentious atmosphere. But I've visited twice in the past week for take out and both times gotten home to discover I'd been given the wrong order. Once is an honest mistake but twice in one week is a problem. At $22 dollars for two sandwiches it's not a cheap mistake either. I was able to eat at least some of the food we got, but my friend has dietary restrictions and couldn't eat any of the food we ended up with. I was very disappointed to have this happen at a place that I usually really enjoy.

Weekday staff is FANTASTIC. Sunday staff is HORRIBLE. I order sometimes during the week with no issues. I have been on occasion on sundays and my order is always made wrong. It was made incorrect this morning and had to have my wrap re-made.... it was made again incorrectly. I asked for turkey bacon, two scrambled eggs and cheese. First one came out with 1 egg over easy. Second one came out with two slices of deli turkey and no cheese. Again... Monday - Friday staff is fantastic. Sunday staff, not so much. I would understand if it was crowded and the order was messed up due to the staff being overwhelmed...... but I was the only one in there this afternoon. Not sure what's going on with the Sunday crew, maybe they need more training? Someone help them!!

We randomly found it and I was not expecting much, but it was so delicious it caught me off guard! I highly recommend the grilled cheese and tomato bisque.

Latte perfection, skip the stupid Starbucks and get the perfect latte from Mar behind the counter. While you are there have breakfast, and don't forget to ask for the home fried potatoes. Worth every single carb. The bread, and bagel are locally sourced, and the coffee is locally roasted. Put money back in the community, and have some of the best coffee and ice cream in Southie.

i just got the food from Cranberry Cafe through grubhub. Apparently, this restaurant wanted to close the store for the day and gave you whatever they had without calling you. I took the picture of the "smoothie" and it's fake syrup water. That's $5?! And the bagel sandwich was hard as a rock. I called back and the woman hanged up when she noticed i was about complaining the order and never answered the phone again. def the worst experience on grubhub

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Every single time I go, they forget to make something and get my order wrong. I have never once received the right order. The food is average, smoothies are pretty good, but I'm very disappointed in their service.

Waited 1/2 hour for a bagel with cream cheese on the side. No one could be bothered to make it. After 20 mins I asked what was going on and the owner or general manager went down and got it together herself. Now I remember why I don't come here often. One star for its potential...

If you love cranberry muffins, this is the place to go. The scones aren't half bad, either. It's a cozy place to stop and grab a coffee. I haven't tried any of the lunch items, but I'm sure they're great.

My normal place was crowded so I figured I would try this place. Place was empty at 6:45 am on a weekday. Plenty of seats, quaint little diner. I guess the help here is not use to waiting on people. I sat and waited a few minutes until she came over. Heavy Southie accent. Everything was on the wall, never was offered a menu. Ordered the Mexican and hazelnut coffee. Mexican omelette was unbelievable. Delicious, light and fluffy, one slice of ham on top, with cheese. Coffee was delicious also. Now I am use to Starbucks coffee, so this was a nice change. Wish they had a different choice of sweetener, but still, probably the best coffee I have had in South Boston. My only knock on this Cafe is the service. Too long of a wait to greet me, ask what I wanted, never came back and asked how was everything, of if I wanted more coffee. Swearing at the end of the counter with someone who was obviously her friend. Food was great....service not so much. Food - 5 stars - yes it was that good. Atmosphere - 4 stars - quaint and old where it needed to be and new where it needed to be Service - 1 stars - being a city boy, I am use to the language and accent, but really it was too early in the morning to have your "friend" help himself to a ice coffee. Thanks for checking to see if everything was ok also. SMH. Value - 3.5 stars - $11 might seem a little high for breakfast, but it was a good breakfast, so I will pay for quality. 15% tip...I don't pay for bad service.

Don't get ice cream here. It's a rip off. One tiny scoop is considered a baby cup in my opinion and it costs around $3.50. Not worth the trip. Plus, it would help if they posted the prices on the wall so you could see what you're paying for. I'm disappointed as we frequent this place often for their coffee and breakfasts. I won't be back!

I had lunch here today which I often stop in for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee. The food, coffee, smoothies, and service is just awesome! I love it here! Everything is always fresh and yummy! Such a neighborhood gem!
