My only concern about posting how fantastic, unique, and serendipitous I find dbar is that it will be more difficult to get a reservation! Great food atmosphere and showtimes! Come on!!!

The food was great and well prepared, the timing was a little off but still it all worked out. A few times I was hoping to get a fresh drink a little sooner. Overall though the experience was good and the energy and vibe was nice.

Food was good. Service was VERY slow. We waited almost 40 minutes for 2 bowls of pasta, which isn't complicated. They said the kitchen was behind, but who knows? Our server was also not super attentive. Had to chase her down several times and had to use support staff often. Beautiful vibe in the restaurant and would love to try it again since we live in the area, but the service needs to improve.

We got there right at 5 when it opened and were being very choosey about our table and the temperature, they were very nice about it, despite how annoying we were. They even turned up the heat wo us asking! Everyone's drinks were yummy, and everyone loved their entrees. It was 3 of ours bdays and they sent out a fancy cake and champagne! Our server was super nice, especially while some of us are challenging :) We very much enjoyed everything!!!

From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family. The wait staff is so friendly and engaging. The apps co and entrees are second to none. We never have dessert because we partake in multiple apps. We travel from Manchester, NH to Dorchester, Ma to enjoy an evening at dbar!!!

Cannot say enough about dbar. I've been a very frequent customer for years. The service is outstanding, food is consistently good and it is a nice place to hang out with friends. Nice patio in warmer months. We dine here the most by far.

I have yet to have a bad or disappointing meal experience here. Love the ambience, love the people and very happy with the food.
Unfortunately this is not the DBar we used to dine at 2 years ago. The food quality is above other restaurants and we expected a cutting edge and flavorful set of dishes. That is wht we were disappointed with our meals. All dinners seemed to be served in bowls and my cod dinner was soupy and had the same vegetables as my partners dinner. We have dined at DBar the chef can't be the same or it was because the holidays were near and people drink more than eat.

We enjoyed the most recent wine dinner. Very nice NY finger lakes and Long Island wines and dBar's delicious food. That said, it could have been even better if a) dinner started on time vs. having to order a drink or simply wait with nothing for 20 min b) main dish was smaller and came with one instead of two glasses of red wine c) and instead, the meal included dessert and a dessert wine.
