We really wanted to like our visit to Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, and I'll start by saying the service was excellent—friendly, professional, and very attentive to our food allergies. The waiter and manager Fernando we spoke with were genuinely kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food completely missed the mark, especially for the price. Compared to other Boston steakhouses we frequent (Mooo, Ocean Prime, Davios etc.), this was a big step down. The salad tasted like something pre-packaged from a grocery store, the steak was bland and mediocre—something we could easily make at home—and the king crab was overcooked, full of shell fragments, difficult to eat, and an extremely small portion. At nearly $150, it wasn't worth it, and even at half the price it would've felt subpar. The bread was absolutely delicious, and the service was 5-star—but even great bread and great people weren't enough to make us want to return.

We made a reservation for our anniversary while we were attending a conference in Boston. We were extremely impressed by the ambience of the restaurant and our table was right next to the window facing the harbor. We were a huge fan of that seating choice as well as the personal touch of a signed anniversary card, waiting on the table for us. Our server, Michael C., was extremely attentive and charismatic. We thoroughly enjoyed his humor and how eager he was to ensure we had a great visit. Rena, the bar manager, came over to personally discuss bourbon options based on our input. She knows her stuff, because she chose well and made a point to verify that. We are DEFINITELY coming back in the spring.

The view out the window is beautiful, the table and seats were comfortable, the service was excellent, the quality of food and food prep was outstanding.

Loved all our food but butter cake was disappointing. Tasted microwaved or burnt. Not like before.

Del Frisco's was amazingly good, the food was outstanding, the service was extraordinary, and the ambience is uniquely amazing, being positioned on the waterfront! We sat at the bar & our server Mike was super attentive & provided excellent recommendations, we would highly recommend this spot! We plan to go back again real soon!

For transparency, we went when the restaurant opened at 4PM, so noise level was still quiet. If you go when full it will be more energetic. The tomahawk steak and sides were absolutely outstanding, and the waiter Mike did an excellent job. Del Frisco's is always the choice for my wife's birthday every year. Great spot for a group dinner!

Our dinner experience was one of a kind and special. They really made us feel like the only couple there with a great seat in the house! Food was delicious and timely. Will be back again to celebrate our next special occasion!

This was our first time dining at Delfrisco, and it unfortunately disappointed. We were celebrating our best friends birthday, and we were in Boston for the weekend. We arrived and the ambience was perfect, we were seated in a lovely booth. Waitress started off lovely, took our drink order and proceeded to take our food order. We started with Lobster Bisque, heirloom Tomato and Burata salad and the crab cakes for our apps. The bisque was terrible, none of us ate it. The heirloom tom salad was not made with heirloom tomatoes, just a non flavored tomato from your typical grocery store. The crab cakes were cold and seemingly uncooked. Tasted like stove top stuffing with some crab meat. We were never asked how the apps were, we waited a bit of time for a drink refill. Once ordering a second glass of wine it took about 15 minutes before it arrived. We did not eat the soup, a few bites of the other times when the waitress realized we were finished, she never asked if we were going to have entrees, cleared the table of the uneaten food, did not ask if we wanted desert or coffee. Brought over a complimentary small dessert for the birthday girl, one fork, and then dropped off the check that we had not even requested. We settled the tab and left to get and have something to eat elsewhere. Super disappointed for this special occasion and not only to be served food that was not tasty, but to have service that was unacceptable. Sometimes you can have poor food and great service and it's OK. Sometimes you can have great food and semi good service and it shadows the experience. We had both unleashing food and a waitress that was terrible.

Amazing lunch. Lobster bisque, seafood salad, lobster Mac and fries. Oh, and the bread was its own meal!

The server Jacob came to my table smelling like marijuana and liquor. It was completely unprofessional and not what I expected at a del Frisco establishment.

This place has always been great — I used to come here all the time. The food, drinks, and atmosphere never disappoint. Unfortunately, since they changed the bar menu hours, it’s not quite the same experience. I won’t be coming back as often for food and drinks, but still a solid spot overall.

They forgot to put my order in so I waited until most of my ground finished half of their meal. Then my pork chop arrived. It was not very juicy or flavorful. Service was good for a large group.
