Delfino in Roslindale is a standout neighborhood Italian restaurant known for its warm, welcoming vibe and consistently delicious food. The open kitchen adds a homey feel, and the attentive staff makes you feel like family. Signature dishes like the lobster ravioli, veal parm, and bolognese are packed with flavor and generously portioned. The quality rivals that of pricier spots in Boston’s North End, making it a local favorite. Be prepared for a wait, especially on weekends—it’s popular for good reason, and they don’t take reservations. Well worth the visit.

If you're looking for true Italian, this is the place! My wife had the seafood pasta and can't stop talking about how great it was. I had the chicken parm, and it was made to perfection with the most tender chicken I've ever had!

Can’t wait to try other dishes. The open faced lobster ravioli I found it too rich, could not taste any special delightful flavor except for too much cream, it was like a cream soup, too strong for my stomach, really overwhelming… Next time I may try a pink sauce, or different seafood specialty. First time there and was expecting a more warm Italian vibe with maybe soft Italian songs. Tiramisu ok but messy presentation.

I love Delfinos. I usually get their bolognese and my husband the porcini mushroom pasta with shrimp. We have also tried their fish, beef and veal. All amazing.
Our favorite dessert is the tiramisu!

ALWAYS a fantastic meal!! we have been coming here for years. They have been in business for over 40 years. They have their own garden on the rooftop of herbs.
Tonight I had the sirloin with mashed potatoes and the fresh vegetables. My husband had the Bolognese, which is always a winner with Veale in it. For appetizer, we had fried oysters with a coleslaw.. It was not your regular coleslaw.!!!
For dessert, chocolate bread, pudding with a huge helping of homemade whip cream! Unbelievable look at the pictures
Can’t say enough about this place.

Parking: On a popular night, you may have to drive around
This is a busy area, it’s called Rosendale Square

Wheelchair accessibility: It looks to me that it would
be a little bit difficult for a wheelchair it’s a very small quaint place.

Best veal parm I ever had...

only was amazed at a $6 charge to get linguini pasta vs the pasta on menu. Wow on that front. No excuse here on that except to screw the customer out of six bucks.

This restaurant was excellent! When we walked in, it was packed. The only 2 seats were at the bar. It was fun to watch the kitchen at work from the bar seating. The teamwork to prepare each dish was fascinating to witness. We ordered the caprese with prosciutto. It was delicious. The tagliatelle carbonara and bolognese were both amazing as well. We skipped dessert but would definitely come back here to try other dishes. The stuffed pork chop look really yummy as well. The portions were extremely generous. I had enough leftovers for another meal. The service was professional, friendly and attentive. 5/5 all around!
