I used to love Dig Inn when I lived in Boston. Back in town, got their mac n cheese the other day and it was just as good as I remembered.
However, I got the mashed potatoes tonight and came in before the pickup time but when I went to eat them 7 mins later they were cold. Which sucks because I'm in a hotel with no way to heat them up. They were also super bland, which I'd forgive if they weren't cold.
Please just keep in mind that not everybody has access to a microwave so please make sure you don't give food that is already cold. Kind of soured a place I had such fond memories of. Not sure I'll come back in next time I'm in town unless I have a microwave.

Mizzo, Mike, and the team were very welcoming and friendly! The food was also terrific!
We came here at 7:50 pm. The closing time was supposed to be 9 pm, but it looked like they were closing. We asked if they are still open and they awkwardly said yes.
After putting some food trays back on the counter, said that they are trying to close in the next 5 mins. We said it is supposed to be open for another hour but they insisted, even though the door says otherwise.
We left with the feeling that they couldn't be straight with the closing hours because they are trying to not work the hours they are supposed to.

Wow, the food here taste almost like home So fresh so hot I’m definitely it was my first time trying and I’m definitely going back. I wish I had more locations service was OK, but it was very clean. The restaurant definitely going back.

This place reminded me of a backyard holiday meal or family reunion throw down. The food tasted homemade like Aunt _________ made it. If you put a bowl together it comes with a main protein that includes salmon, tofu, crispy chicken, or garlic herb chicken. They were out of the Salmon when I got there later in the evening, so I had the garlic herb chicken with garlic aioli sauce on the side as well as hot honey. The Mac & cheese was delicious and as was the chicken, rice, and broccoli. I had a hard time picking the sides and hope to try the roasted sweet potatoes next time. If you want a nostalgic taste of a summertime backyard BBQ, go here. You won't be disappointed!

This is as fresh as food can get, not sure why it's not the top of everyone's list. It's pretty much all about what's in season & they change up what they have pretty regularly. It's good to be able to get a plate of veggies-yummy! They need more vegan sauces/dressings. The main issue I have is these tiny plastic containers of sauce/dressing. Why can't they just add it to the dish since they're making it anyway? Super annoying trying to get it out of there too. What a waste of product & plastic is toxic.
